Foxy Friday Campaign!

Site Update

Hey, you!
Yeah, you!

Do you want to get an awesome fox shirt, a special SCC pet, and help the best exotic animal shelter out all at once?

Aywas and its official pet artist, Kuitsuku, have decided to team together to produce this awesome shirt campaign for Critter Camp! For just $20.00, you get a t-shirt in the above design (produced and shipped to you from the Booster company), a Foxy Friday Potion, and help out the shelter. They take PayPal, too!

This is the Foxy Friday Potion and it allows you to make one of the foxes from the t-shirt design... just rendered a bit more to our tastes. ;)

Aywas has always been committed to helping out animal shelters and animal conservation causes, and we think this is our best contribution yet!

What do you think of the shirt? Cute, isn't it? Foxy Friday refers to the pictures that Critter Camp puts on their Facebook page every Friday of the foxes they have rescued. Todd is the red fox and Wiley is the fennec.

Also, even if you can't contribute, you can help by reblogging this post about it on tumblr if you can - or sharing the Facebook post - so Critter Camp's new campaign gets lots of exposure!

Tequila Mockingbird (#64472) - you likely did it right. Australia only has customs tax if the items are over $1000 in value, but I almost exclusively only buy from places that have free shipping, because shipping to Australia costs an Arm and a leg. I think average skipping costs sit between 20 and 60$, and that's not even for priority mail. If I buy stuff that needs to be shipped, I make sure I have enough money to fill that box to the top with stuff because otherwise it's not worth it.

Yeaaah, shipping to Australia is a PAIN. But it clearly CAN be done for relatively cheap, at least for shirts - teefury has a flat $4USD rate if you order from them. So it's reaaaally frustrating that so many sites won't do it aaaargh >(

I'd like to have the opportunity to get the custom maker by itself, too - happy to donate, but urgh shipping and also I want more custom-makers than shirts, hahahaha.

One thing I can say I love about this site is the helping of shelters, rescues and organizations of the like. Wish I could help out every one that is brought to our attention.

Damn. That is a rough pill to swallow...

I tend to gravitate towards free shipping. I mean. It's free. Why not free shipping if it is possible xD

I never got around to sending my friend whom was abroad in China a care package, so I have never actually looked into abroad package sending... Though I've gotten stuff from abroad /horrible friend/family member

Mostly food, ironically.... since food sending is a struggle with a lot of place.. not with Germany/Austria/Italy, I guess XD

I honestly think there should be a cheaper option with no shirt now.. for people who want the item.. but don't want to buy something they won't end up getting without jumping throgh flaming hopes on a centrofuge as well as it wouldn't be all nice and dandy spending as you so correctly put it.. an arm and a leg ( heck, there might be a kidney in there too x_X) for a measly t-shirt... not to downplay the cause.. But yeah.. Good idea. Fell a little short in the long scheme of things.

I'd say it is the thought that counts but I live in the US and have access to said shirts so I have no right to say anything regarding this matter (IMO) ^^;;

I would agree that it's the thought that counts, by with conversion rates that shirt will cost me close to 30$ even without postage lol

So the stories are true o:

I heard it was like 8 bucks for a starbucks latte or something crazy like that. In Australia. O.O (At least that is what a heard a few years back... Time flies though.. Maybe it got better... or Starbucks left. I feel it would be hard to be a loyal customer to a place that is so pricey. I already find Starbucks pricey here in the US.. It boggles my mind how students can afford to stop there every morning... My cousin is one of those loons so I know it is a real epidemic here. They must add illegal substances to their dranks)

I mean... have a hard time paying just 5-ish bucks ._. (and I will just not talk about gas prices I think...?)

I am SO glad to see this is going for a month. Pretty much flat out broke right now, won't get my check until May 1st, so that should give me time to get one. It is such a cute shirt, and I love getting more shirts. XD
(Of course also the little foxy customs are SO ADORABLE!)
