Foxy Friday Campaign!

Site Update

Hey, you!
Yeah, you!

Do you want to get an awesome fox shirt, a special SCC pet, and help the best exotic animal shelter out all at once?

Aywas and its official pet artist, Kuitsuku, have decided to team together to produce this awesome shirt campaign for Critter Camp! For just $20.00, you get a t-shirt in the above design (produced and shipped to you from the Booster company), a Foxy Friday Potion, and help out the shelter. They take PayPal, too!

This is the Foxy Friday Potion and it allows you to make one of the foxes from the t-shirt design... just rendered a bit more to our tastes. ;)

Aywas has always been committed to helping out animal shelters and animal conservation causes, and we think this is our best contribution yet!

What do you think of the shirt? Cute, isn't it? Foxy Friday refers to the pictures that Critter Camp puts on their Facebook page every Friday of the foxes they have rescued. Todd is the red fox and Wiley is the fennec.

Also, even if you can't contribute, you can help by reblogging this post about it on tumblr if you can - or sharing the Facebook post - so Critter Camp's new campaign gets lots of exposure!

So tempting. Will need to figure out what I have left.. you would do this knowing I just got my tax return.... and have my son's birthday coming up. He would love the shirt..... ( to young to play aywas..) but I'm sure he will tell me what to color the pets!

EssGee <3> Flora (#36207) naa, but I have a non-aywas Canadian and American friends that I can probably ship the shirt too. Maybe one each for them too, if I'm feeling generous XD lol.

Is there going to be a way to get the potion/donate without the shirt? It's a nice shirt, but I can't see myself wearing it.

"For just $20.00, you get a t-shirt in the above design (produced and shipped to you from the Booster company)"
False advertising. What it should read:
"For just $20.00, you get a t-shirt in the above design (produced and shipped to you if you live in America, which by the way, isn't the world from the Booster company)"

He (She?) is indeed named after the fox from the said Disney movie. And Wiley is named after Wiley E. Coyote.. I asked the runner of "camp" myself.. or someone involved in the camp who was associated with the previous indiegogo kickstarter like thing... As I got in a conversation with someone after forgetting to put down a bonus reward (I accidentally just donated straight up monies and didn't even see the choices area until too late XD.. But I got a thank you email and it is almost like she read my mind that I eff'd up.. lol.. So I asked for a digital image of their two foxies to add to my cute animal screen saver thingy... and this is when I asked about the names XD .. but yeah.. the naming suspicions were indeed correct on your part, Suna ^^)

on a side note, regarding on what you (not sure if EssGee or Flora..) mentioned to Honey Love (#25910)

I decided to look up what it would cost to ship something manually from the US to Australia out of curiosity at the least.. only to get really confused... I was using the usps calculating thing but yeah.. there are either a ton of tiny costs that add up or I did it wrong because the total I got for a flat rate medium box (there was no small) was like 60 dollars... There a customs fee but I'm not sure if it is one fee or two fees - one for US customs and one for Aussie customs.. and there is something like a form one has to fill out to ship to Australia or something.. I'm not sure if I was reading that right though... Maybe that is for mass shipments? There was a whole article on shipping to Australia and all the rules like no food products I think was one.. not that one eats a shirt..

I looked because I am primarily interested in the item and not the shirt.. I have too many shirts. As adorable as it is , I'd have been willing to ship it off if it was reasonable.. But if it costs the amount of three shirts to ship it, I'm not sure if it is worth it... And it would involve needing to be paid somehow... Even if the abroad user was the one who donated and mailed it to a US person... It wouldn't cover the US person doing all the shipping fees on their own I think...

Maybe I pressed a wrong button though... It was weird.. the box went from 25 dollars flat rate to suddenly being 60 bucks and not entirely sure how that happened. There are no insurance fees because the cost of the shirt is 20 dollars and anything worth 100 dollars or less is insured for free... >___>....

They say money is the interrnational language, but I obviously need to brush up on my money. Or international law considering all the specific rules each country has...

In the end, I don't think trust would be the biggest obstacle.... Which is a weird thing for someone as paranoid as me to say but man.. my head is still spinning from all the confusion the USPS site laid down on me XD

(I wrote a lot because it is hard to describe something that you geneuinely confused/perplexed by... I tried my darndest but yeah.. doesn't help I tend to spread confusion like the plague with my spastic blatherings XD )

long story short.

The T-Shirt is cute. But if cute comes at the ultimatum of 60 US dollars, mas o menos, then I'd find another cute shirt to get instead. A shirt would have to be have spun from the gold, silk, and GODBLOODSWEATTEARS (whatever that latter thing is) to pay 60 bucks for it XD
