Custom Helpers Wanted

Site Update

Earlier today we rapidly cleared the entire custom queue to start "fresh" with an empty queue. As a result, please be aware that you should not judge whether a custom was necessarily appropriate for that item based on whether it passed or not - only egregiously unacceptable pets were rejected from the queues to make for this fresh start.

(EG: If a custom passed under Blue CC today, don't assume that future customs made on those lines will.)

Applications for the volunteer job of custom queue helper are available here. We will need volunteers to help with the overlays so Graymare can process customs faster now that we have the queue down to zero.

Provided we get reliable helpers, we should be able to keep the queues moving quickly. Anyone interested is encouraged to apply for the job.

I've been waiting for my customs for a very, very long time. This was so many levels of nice. I wish I could apply, the only failing is the every day bit. I work twelve hour days for half the week and would not be able to do anything, lol. Best of luck to all that do apply

Thank you so much for doing this, and for looking at ways to solve future issues with the system. If I wasn't a full-time student, I'd definitely apply.

I, personally, do not mind waiting a long while to get customs back because I understand it takes time and energy to do. Though, it would be pretty cool to have a program that automatically checks the line edit differences for you and be reliable. xD

Anyway, I'm going to try and apply for this. Would love to help to best of my capability since I'm not much of an artist anyway. :3

Will crystal check be moving too, or will it be just the custom queue?

(@previous page)How can you complain this is "unfair" when the whole queue backlog was unfair for everyone? You're missing the perspective of the problem. Queues have always been a problem for years, when Grey got injured it really got serious. It was either have a backed queue or just let everyone get what they want and start fresh. I don't think they would have done it unless it was their last resort or some "loophole"...Although I would like to see them loosen the % differences as someone proposed on the suggestion forum. It's a detailed system, but it won't uphold if queues increase.

I just don't really get how anyone could be complaining right now, to be honest. Okay, so some people got away with customs at one tier lower, oh well. Can't we just be happy we even got our long-awaited customs at all???? And appreciate the fact that things can start going smoothly again???

Fair or not, I believe this was in everyone's best interest. I hope you guys don't get too much crap for doing what you think was best for everyone. People don't know what it's like to be in your position.
