This ominous Book of Completion should not be used with the Verdant Vale region.
Verdant Vale is a very specialized adventure area and does not work like the others, so using this item will result in a glitch (you can end up bypassing the story and not getting your HA trunks, etc.). The HA trunks are meant to be a reward for doing the quest legwork, so unfortunately there's no lightning quick way to get to the end.
If you've already used the Book, contact me and I'll see what I can do for you.
Note that this is only applicable if you used the Book prior to this news post; if you use it after, I will not be able to assist you.

Auranox (#28301) - That's because you had a clover stone attached. Those don't work in these special areas and will drive away the low rarity pets but won't bring high ones forward like they do normally.

bd84 (#2783) No, cloverstones do work here; I had one equipped before I went in and had forgotten about, and it was working just fine. (Took me a bit to realise why I wasn't seeing any of the more common pets, but. Yes. |D)

I hope there are more pets. I got a quest to see 46 unique monsters+pets, and it seems random ones aren't registering or something. :/

bd84 (#2783) Those types of quests will be harder in a region like this because it's temporary and doesn't have as many pets as our other areas. There's enough pets/monsters to technically complete them, but they will be tough. I do have a few more pets that should be coming in to hopefully make those a bit easier. :3
