wow, are we really having a conversation about the offensiveness of a throwaway line of a new post? Seriously, with the image there, it looks like he's blaming that hunk of rock. which might as well be named moonmoon.

Glad to know it was a small problem, ran to my lair to check my couple of precious babies before I read the comment it was more recent customs only.
People will get up in arms over almost anything, sadly, though it at least seems the majority is clear- Moon Moon isn't meant to be offensive. Most of us don't see it that way, or use it to attack people. Moon Moon is a screw up, someone who tries too hard to help and then something goes wrong. We've all been there, we've all been Moon Moon. It's a cute little goofy wolf that we like, not treat badly. To us, they don't represent anything outside being a goof-up.
