um Moon Moon is actually a hurtful thing that makes fun of a "retarted" wolf. Witch means you are laughing at the mentally challenged because retard is a term to mean stupid witch means that people with mental disabilities even minor are being made fun of. so please stop using moon moon even the creator of the naming thing that caused the "joke" to be born was mad at the hurtful things going around. They asked for the jokes to stop so next time you laugh at it think about what or who you r laughing at.

The server is an inanimate object, I'm absolutely certain it has no feelings that can be hurt. If it does ever develop intelligence, we'll have bigger problems.

In my experience with the moon moon joke, it was referencing a general silliness/goofiness with a dash of being clumsy? XD Dogs and wolves being silly, lol, which I am certain is the context Graymare was intending to use. -Tay

It was only meant to be an amusing sub-caption for an otherwise mundane news post I'm sure most people aren't very interested in seeing, given this problem only affected a small group of players. If goofy wolves are somehow offensive to you, I apologize. :c

x'D I laughed so hard at this. I have a close friend and one of his nickname's is Moon Moon. We were chatting once about it and he shared the Moon Moon pictures with me. This post brought all that back to me and gave me a great big smile with lots of wonderful warm feelings! ~Kat

I'm agreeing with both parties on this one for the Moon Moon reference, because the joke itself is offensive because it IS making fun of mentally slow people, because the joke spread away from just wolves and was being used in terms for ANYTHING doing something stupid, or in human cases it was used to make fun of simple people. However, this IS a pet website and the joke was NOT meant to be harmful and instead spice up a boring newspost using a simple reference to something that had been sparked quite a while ago and was pretty amusing because it was making fun of silly dog and wolf images. So in the future, be careful about what 'Moon Moon'-esque jokes you find "funny" because they DO have the potential to be offensive and gross, but that comes with everything else out there in the world. ANYWAY, social enlightenment aside, I hope everyone's custom images get sorted out quickly and efficiently (as I'm sure they will, thank you Graymare!).

moon moon is not meant to be hurtful what so ever. It was a meme when a guy found out that his wolf name was Moon Moon, first and last initial, etc etc. When the pictures started circulating about "retarded" white wolves, it was not in fact referring to them as such. They were being derpy, silly, and funny. Not retarded in any way shape or form. I am referred to as Moonmoon sometimes because I am a white wolf myself, and I do derpy things. I see nothing what so ever wrong with this post. -Tala
