Thanx a lot, Kat & MIA Cupcake (#51636), I really appreciate the tip. Still gonna go to a random board and see how much lag I experience, so I can gauge a little better @ 6pm. :-)

omg lol there's absolutely no rule against not posting multiple times??? the rules were even clarified from the 2am drop indicating: no reason you aren't allowed to try posting multiple times!!! You can only win once, which is fair, but idk why people care about 'spamming'? If Slash cared about people making one post and one post only, he would specifically state it in the rules.
Do you not remember the customs forum game where you only won when your post was the last one on a page, and people did 10+ posts trying to get it? I'm pretty sure Aywas doesn't care about 'spam' posts.

For everyone complaining about spamming, first, slash addressed the issue, so its within the game rules. Secondly, this rule set was devised to avoid people refreshing the adoption center every few seconds in search of teos, which was enough to bring the entire site down to a grind for as long as the event was going. If the rules of the game cause you to be unable to run the game, it needed to change, which it did.
Also, if someone posts 30 posts, they can still miss with every single one of them. All this whining about 'spamming' just sounds like people who are upset that they didn't win, and are trying to disqualify people just so they can hope to be the one to get it next.

I derped and didn't make my post long enough, so I was basically screwed from the get-go anyways. Doesn't help that I apparently have actually slow internet, as far as broadband goes...*stabs Time Warner*

Creek (#10084) I understand it's just, I guess I'm being huffy and puffy since for people without any luck at raffles (like me and some of my friends) this is pretty much the best/only chance they have at getting a teo. I know my connection well and timed it based off of the 2 am round and I posted once so I think it's completely fair.
I understand being angry about the spammer getting rewarded (I don't like it anymore than they do) but they still had just as much of a chance as everyone else. And we still aren't 100% sure that the spammer will get the teo.
Le T.Hi (#39846) Sure! lol Practice makes perfect! It'll definitely give you an idea of how fast (or slow) your posts register but I'd suggest adding a sec or two since most times my posts go up immediately but with all the people posting at once it can delay even the fastest systems by a second or two which can make the difference (it delays me about 3-4 seconds and I have an amazing connection). Good luck next round!! ^_^

I didn't make my post longer enough either, so I would have been posted at 12, but I ended having to resend the post and end up at 12:01

Its one thing to post multiple times in attempt, but its another thing to go overboard. This was more than just 30 posts. It causes major lag for other users by the excessive amount of posts.

The only problem I see is if someone were to use a third party program for an unfair advantage through spam.. other than that, it specifically states posts before __:__ don't count and you can only win once, meaning anyone after the spam is the next winner.
I actually assumed there were so many people trying, the pages just shot up because everyone is posting at least once to make the limit.

Kat & MIA Cupcake (#51636) - I think people are more suggesting it be done for the later ones. I don't think it'd be fair to last minute change it for this one. Especially to hurt the ones that followed the rules and design of the 'game'.
I think most people are upset by the few that multi-posted in the minute (almost 20 pages worth of that spam) and to get rewarded for it.
