Or for those of us with lousy computers, the winners would be chosen at random from those who posted on the dot, instead of the fastest. Sounds much more civilized that this method..

I actually would much rather the one-shot to post rather than "however many your connection can handle sending within a second or two". But, well, it is what it is. =) I'm just glad that there is a chance given to everyone.

all these suggestions to rule changes are fine, but be aware that the rules for the game has already been set. Being "Fair" is more about following the rules you set up before the game, than it is about the rules giving equal chance to everyone.

So at best you could change the way the final two drops are done. I doubt it will happen though, this is already an emergency rule change from the adoption center method.

well any post before noon wont count.. and neither will multiple post

but the spammer.. may be disqualified as well Youd have to ask the host of the event

Well I was curious and was looking at the posts and noticed at least one person was a double poster... So I don't think they are gonna get the Teo.

But I could be wrong.

Multiple posts or posts before the time won't be disqualified - posts before the time just won't count, and the duplicate posts will be skipped.

I hit "Post Reply" @ precisely 11:59:59 and STILL ended up 30+ pages behind! I've never tried to do this kind of thing before, so now I know to hit that button BEFORE that...What's a good time, everyone? 5 seconds until? 10? 15?

I posted at dead on 11:59:59. Like any other person should. Spamming for 30 fecking pages is overkill and those users should be disqualified for taking advantage. No-where in the rules does it say 'spam for the lulz hurr hurr'. But it's not me running the competition now is it? : 3 - L

Guess I'll have to try gin next round. I knew by the lag when I hit the post button I wasn't making it. And those spam claims prior to 12pm... -_-

I love how people are asking advice on how to win. Why would they give you help defeating them in the game to win what they want? That said, I'll mention that you should pay attention to all the rules and erratas posted by slash.
