Items
We unfortunately have an issue with married pairs taking up nearly the entire PMBC queue. While we're happy that the PMBC is being used more, this wasn't an intended result. A volume of married pairs this high makes the coin have very little profit, and in some cases, a loss.
As such, we unfortunately have to amend the PMBC rules to address this problem. From this point forward, pairs submitted via PMBC that are married will have a 30% chance of having a second offspring. Currently submitted pairs will not be affected by this change.
This should allow us to continue offering the PMBC instead of increasing the price (which would be illogical considering how close it is to the PLBC, which doesn't have this problem) or removing the coin entirely.
Sorry :(

Aywas Staff - :) I have a rescue and a small business so I understand completely. Just this year I have had to raise my prices due to the cost of gas and taxes.

Honestly, this is probably the best solution possible. You done good with a bad situation, Aywas.

Wow, once again people are acting like Aywas is a charity. Come on people, be reasonable. You get a pretty awesome game that you can play completely for free, and you're going to complain because they're saying they won't effectively pay $1 for you to breed your pets together? The site staff put their real time into this site, and it costs real money to run, and it's not all being done as a favour to you. That doesn't make them greedy, it makes sense. Since the coin was put up for a trial period in the first place, I think it's pretty sweet that a compromise has been found that means you can still use the coin and have a shot at an extra baby (which means 30% of the coins submitted with married parents are still going to actually cost the site money rather than raise it) rather than not having that chance at all or the coin being removed completely. If this news post really upsets you, take a step back and look at why you feel so entitled.

Sounds fair. Being they were new items I expected to see a little tweaking here and there. Definitely better to keep affordable for players than to raise price. Also makes that occasional second offspring a happy surprise.
A further Suggestion? Maybe a reasonably priced add-on for the coins that guarantees/greatly increases chance of the second child?
Painted Dice:
Price: 3.99
Addon for PMBC that increases chance of second offspringfor married couples to 75%
Loaded Painted Dice:
Price: 6.99 Addon for PMBC that guarantees a second child for married couples.
Still cheaper than most other coins, but helps offset losses.
This way they can still get the second kid within a reasonable price range while still producing a reasonable profit?

The dice idea are really nice, however the prices on those would have to be lower otherwise it's simply more cost efficient to get a PLBC, which guarantees 2 offspring from a married pair. PMBCs run about $9. PLBCs are about $12. There's not much room, at all, between those to put an addon for additional offspring without going over the PLBC price.

I think the change is fair. I also like San's idea but I think it should be expanded to include non-married PLBC pairs too, with a chance rate of 10% and 25% for each item. Either that or smaller, so people who don't have married pets but want to try their luck can spend money too!

Can we still breed metal married pairs with a PLBC for two babies? More expensive coin = no loss even on married pairs?
