PMBC and Married Pairs

Items

We unfortunately have an issue with married pairs taking up nearly the entire PMBC queue. While we're happy that the PMBC is being used more, this wasn't an intended result. A volume of married pairs this high makes the coin have very little profit, and in some cases, a loss.

As such, we unfortunately have to amend the PMBC rules to address this problem. From this point forward, pairs submitted via PMBC that are married will have a 30% chance of having a second offspring. Currently submitted pairs will not be affected by this change.

This should allow us to continue offering the PMBC instead of increasing the price (which would be illogical considering how close it is to the PLBC, which doesn't have this problem) or removing the coin entirely.

Sorry :(

Does this effect the PLBC? Also, would it be possible for the divorce paper item to be released so people could un-marry some pairs?

Aww :( I had been hoping on breeding my married Faeg pair till they hit 100 offspring, and PMBC had been my main focus...

PLBC is not affected by this change. Its queue is capable of supporting married pairs, though if this ever changes, we will revisit the issue.

Definitely understand why. Well, I'd rather they exist like this on the site than they be way more expensive. Fair trade-off!

How is this going to work prompt wise? Do we still send in two prompts?

What did it do before? I believe when I looked it up last, it was a guaranteed second offspring, but I'm not 100% sure I'm remembering right.

Either way, that seems fair to me. Sad, but having balance is better than the economy suddenly go out of whack.
