Items
We unfortunately have an issue with married pairs taking up nearly the entire PMBC queue. While we're happy that the PMBC is being used more, this wasn't an intended result. A volume of married pairs this high makes the coin have very little profit, and in some cases, a loss.
As such, we unfortunately have to amend the PMBC rules to address this problem. From this point forward, pairs submitted via PMBC that are married will have a 30% chance of having a second offspring. Currently submitted pairs will not be affected by this change.
This should allow us to continue offering the PMBC instead of increasing the price (which would be illogical considering how close it is to the PLBC, which doesn't have this problem) or removing the coin entirely.
Sorry :(

I'm so sad......I got a PMBC specifically for a married pair....:( I should have submitted it a couple hours ago. :/ not very happy....will you be clarifying the stuff? Like, how the 30% might work with prompts, etc?

It really would have been nice to give people a 24hour heads-up or something? I don't use PMBCs so it doesn't affect me personally, but I've seen many people arranging split breedings recently for contests and whatnot which might not have their plans suddenly shattered without so much as a word of warning :(. Feel sorry for them!!

Yeah - what's the point of marrying pets if it doesn't ACTUALLY guarantee you an extra offspring like it's suppose to?

I don't have any married pets, and i can understand why this has been decided, but i do feel bad for those with married pets. As mentioned, the incentive to marry pets has always been the extra offspring.

24 hour notice would have meant a rush to get as many married pairs into the system as quickly as possible, which would cause a bigger problem. It isn't ideal when these decisions have to be made because we know that users will be upset by them, but when taxes and fees can hit to leave us taking money out of other areas to pay the artists it's certain that more users would be affected by the change than currently are.
It should be noted, also, that this is the only coin affected - MBC, LBC, HBC and BC continue to be compatible with it and produce the extra offspring, as normal. They are also the only coins that it has ever been guaranteed that the Engagement Ring would effect.

Yup, great. Fix your problems at the expense of users, yes. It'll make me SO want to buy PMBC now.

Yeah, I understand that. I don't have any married pets that could go for a metal breeding. I'll have when I'll buy a ring, but well, PLBC is not really more expensive, so if I really want two pups, I'll use that coin XD

Huh. I agree with this; more and more pets seem to be getting married, and I honestly wasn't expecting it. ^^'

Uff. Honestly was wondering if this would become an issue. s^: Although it might be a bit of a drag to not be guaranteed an extra offspring, the change is more than reasonable. A coin purposed to help fund the website should not be costing it more money, and I believe it's pretty unfair to think otherwise.

XD i feel bad having no idea whats going on lol, but i guess i'm glad for once a game site is trying not to rip off its players for more money like most of the games i play.
