Gender options in the User Profile Settings have been expanded to be more inclusive. Feel free to use them if desired.
Pet genders updated too.

Disagree on the people asking for a 'transgender' gender. Being trans* isn't a gender, it's the identity or expression of gender. I actually find it kinda offensive to want a 'transgender' gender option. At the most, Transman / Transwoman but even then that's unnecessary. The added options are nice and inclusive but I think it'd be a poor choice to overdo it, especially with that particular suggestion.
I do, however, have the suggestion of adding 'Intersex', and, alongside that, changing the pet 'Hermaphrodite' option to be 'Intersex' instead.

NP. I kept hermaphrodite in there because it does apply to animals, and not all pets are humanized characters. Intersex is available if the pet is a humanized character.

So.... with "Other" would there be a fill in the blank which could be abused, or would it be "XXX the Other Custom Pet" which sounds like it's kind of a throwaway pet.

I can understand these options for pets. But this seems kind of unnecessary for user profiles. Its like asking for someone's sexual orientation, rather than their GENDER.
And why are we even worried about that? Aywas isnt a dating website.
