GP Purchase Financing

Site Update

PayPal has been sending me this info about their financing program, and apparently it's only valid until October 31st, so here's the information if it'd be appealing to you:

It's also on the GP Purchase Page if you'd like to view it there.
(PS: It might take a little refreshing for it to come up, I've found)

Edit: Some members are saying PayPal's offer is not very good, so please read their comments and do research yourself.

Paypal sends me this email at least once a week. "Congratulations! You've won the chance at a great offer!" Or some nonsense like that.

Please, don't do Bill Me Later, guys. It's not worth it.

I work for a credit company and can by my working experience advise no one to buy into this 'but now and pay back later' scheme. It's only 'interest free' if you pay in the time frame allotted, even if you fail to pay 0.01 of the due sum back, you will incur the FULL interest of the balance originally borrowed on credit. Anyone who undertakes this, please be careful, the interest rates are normally very high and its very easy to get into trouble with these schemes. 6 months doesn't seem long, but its surprising how many people forget about things of this nature and wind up paying back their borrowed amount plus the huge interest just because they forgot or were a day late for the final repayment. And i know aywas is at the end of the day a business, but i'm a little surprised to see advertising of this nature...

Honestly this deal through paypal is pretty bad :S I wouldn't recommend anyone to actually use it, unless you could pay it off in a month or two. It's risky, and a potential headache.

I'm honestly not very fond of seeing this in the news....it can be really misleading and get people into pretty bad situations because of all the tiny hidden stipulations :S

Also note that this service will NOT help you build GOOD credit. Paypal Bill Me Later will report POOR credit if you miss payments, but making payments on time doesn't benefit your credit score in any way! It can still be useful when used responsibly, but thought ya might like to know. :)

Why is this in a news post? Sounds more like a controversial forum topic than something that should be official aywas news. -.-
