Dog Care & Share
Come here if you'd like to share stories/pictures of your dog or discuss care tips!

Also, a couple clarifications for the Luxury Collar:
- In addition to local shelters, rescues are also fine.
- You can donate to any local/community shelter or rescue, it doesn't have to be in your area, or even in your country. We are really trying to emphasize the small, local organizations, but if you can't seem to find one and there's only a large organization in your area, Ryou says that should be okay.
- If you're part of a pet fostering program and can provide proof, that is acceptable as well.
If you have any really specific individual circumstances and are not sure if the Luxury Collar would apply, toss me a message, por favor!

@ Lulu
Think about it this way, the Red Collar item gets you a mongrel custom pet. Making mutts even MORE special than the purebreds! 8D

would a nonprofit organization that is specifically meant to make it so that people dont have to give their pets to a shelter or rescue due to bad financial circumstances count? there is one in my town that helps pet owners if they are having a hard time affording their pet food or if their pet gets sick and needs unexpected care at a time when the pet owner cant afford it and would otherwise have to give the pet up to a shelter or rescue in order for it to be able to get treatment.

I'm somewhat disappointed there are only 'pure' dogs in the park. I kind of miss my smart and cuter then all things mutt dogs. :) I guess it's easier that way.
On a different note, this event makes me miss volunteering at Partners for Pets. Local animal shelters and rescues are such wonderful things, and the people that help them are brilliant in all ways. You guys rock! <3
