Also, a couple clarifications for the Luxury Collar:
- In addition to local shelters, rescues are also fine.
- You can donate to any local/community shelter or rescue, it doesn't have to be in your area, or even in your country. We are really trying to emphasize the small, local organizations, but if you can't seem to find one and there's only a large organization in your area, Ryou says that should be okay.
- If you're part of a pet fostering program and can provide proof, that is acceptable as well.
If you have any really specific individual circumstances and are not sure if the Luxury Collar would apply, toss me a message, por favor!

I don't know how to prove I'm part of a pet rescue.
I currently have fourteen guinea pigs that are rescues. Some are currently being rehabilitated for serious skin issues.

I really wish I could do this, but I basically am caring for a colony of feral cats out of my own pocket on disability and just can't afford to do this, but it is such a wonderful idea.
I'm absolutely LOVING this entire event.

I suppose that visiting the local shelter every week to keep the animals company and play with them doesn't count since I'm sure a lot of people do that already. :P

Rudozem Street Dog Rescue is run by a British family who moved to Bulgaria and opened a non-profit rescue after they discovered street dogs & cats are generally considered vermin there. https://www.streetdogrescue.com/

Would love to post about my Ty [dog] that died but I feel that would be a little too depressing~
