Site Update
We have two new offsite mechanisms for communicating unexpected downtime and other nasty little bugs. Well, one already existed, but we'll pretend for now it didn't.
First, is the Announcements Tumblr.
Second is the Announcements Twitter.
Both are very shiny and hooked into each other, so they'll both get the same announcements. Pick your favorite and follow it if you'd like to be alerted to any onsite maintenance that'll cause downtime or lag.

And maybe add the FaceBook page to it too? I don't have either of those, though I've been tempted to make a tumblr. ;n;

A very neat idea, especially for those who use those sites! (Unfortunately, until recently, I had no idea what a Twitter was.) I am positive that people here will likely that. :D | Angel

I tried to add the Facebook page into tumblr but it didn't work :(
Would have been great if it could grab announcements from tumblr too
