EDIT- Well, it looks like this no longer applies. :( CS2 isn't being reported as free to download anymore.
Hi artists,
For those of you who aren't aware, Adobe just released Creative Suite 2 (which includes Photoshop) for free. Go read about it here.
It's an older version of their programs, but older is better than nothing, and it's FREE!
Go forth and make beautiful art!

.... Does this mean people no longer have a right to complain about not owning Photoshop? Or having a program that can support the features of Photoshop because its not free? I DON'T KNOW HOW MUCH CS2 SUPPORTS IN COMPARISON TO 4 OR 5.... BUT THIS IS GOOD NEWS PEOPLE. IF IT CAN DO LAYER CLIPS, FOLDERS AND LAYER MASKS... NEVER AGAIN SHALL WE WORRY ABOUT GIMP COMPATIBILITY. (That is, when the website appears to be back up. Likely its so overloaded with requests....)
