Since the server transfer, there has been a consistence lag problem that has been occurring on the new server. We are aware of this problem and are actively working on it.
There may be some times when you will hit sudden heavy lag or even the site will go down. Usually, this is our doing as we are usually working on something on the backend of the site. We've recently obtained a new toy that's pin pointing what scripts are causing problems and how they are causing it, so we have been hard at work fixing 'em.
If you suddenly hit a bad patch of lag, or if the site even goes down for you, madly refreshing the page will not bring it back up. Again, generally when this occurs, it's us doing something and not just some random patch of lag on the site. Just wait it out a few minutes and give it another try.

Maybe I have just been fortunate, but I haven't hit any lag at all today, which is quite strange since my computer is always terribly slow... :\

You guys can thank Slash for that. Without our new toy, these problems would have continued to go unseen. We managed to reduced the average load time of the site from 20s to 2.4s. 2.4s still isn't ideal, but we're getting there!
