Surprise!
Once upon a time, in a kingdom far away, there was a world of gold, armor, and delectable food.
Ruled by a wise, true king, the land enjoyed prosperity and peace for decades until something out of his control threatened the universe he was entrusted to guide and protect.
A sickly, virulent horse shrouded in shadow brought famine to the land.
The vegetation withered, the water became tainted, and the essence of life itself seemed to be sapped from the kingdom, which devolved into war and struggle. Peasants fled, knights betrayed the crown, and the remnants of wealth and plenty that everyone previously enjoyed now divided them. Squandering what was left, much of the kingdom's treasures were thought to be lost, along with its valiant heroes--or so the legend goes.
Perhaps this tale can help to explain the mysterious Gold Coins appearing in the wilderness?
Take care when going after this tempting treasure, however, for it seems that there are some other characters after it, too...
Not only are these coveted gold coins shiny and, well, gold, but they will also be used to purchase some medieval must-haves! You can now pick up Knight and Mage items in the Seasonal Shop!
We will also be adding food and weapons to the store. :)
Here's some specific event details for you!
Piles of Gold Coins are appearing in every Adventure region in random piles of 1-10.
These are points and non-transferable.
All pets, save for the Finn, are catchable. Check the Aywapedia if you want to know where to find them. :)
We will make an announcement when the Seasonal Shop has been stocked with weapons and food, which will all be kept at similarly low prices. Gold is worth a lot, you know!
You have until May 11th at 11:59 PM to gather your coins and catch those pets.
The seasonal shop will be kept open through May 12th at 11:59 PM to give you extra time to grab your goodies!
(Yasu is working on opening Explore back up for us, so I'll keep you posted!)

I've found the Drylis a couple times, but since my pets are all level 1 now I haven't been able to capture any...

I haven't even seen the Drylis. I thought for a moment I mis-read the post and that they would show up in the seasonal shop or something, but then re-read it and don't know why I haven't seen any of them. There's several I REALLY want!

Cool event but I can't find any of the pets or any gold yet. I've tried all day, but well, of course I will keep trying. Great event, I guess I just have terrible luck lately.

That wikd dragon lancer refuses to show for me, even with Aynip. I went thru 2 full bags. Nada. I only saw it once, but no chance to catch it. For an uncommon pet, it's super rare for me.

nice, but once again there are no greaves (pants) to the set of armor making this appear to be for females only... sorry, but guys do play here too and we are being forgotten in almost all events. making something wearable by both doesn't make it look right for both

Hm, guys, the pets may be hard to find for a reason. ..I've already managed to catch them all, though, I agree with micandra. The wild dragon lacer proved to be very stubborn.
Not all females are happy about wearing dresses or skirts. Some greaves for the Knight set and different kinds of pants in general would be nice. :/
