Surprise!
Once upon a time, in a kingdom far away, there was a world of gold, armor, and delectable food.
Ruled by a wise, true king, the land enjoyed prosperity and peace for decades until something out of his control threatened the universe he was entrusted to guide and protect.
A sickly, virulent horse shrouded in shadow brought famine to the land.
The vegetation withered, the water became tainted, and the essence of life itself seemed to be sapped from the kingdom, which devolved into war and struggle. Peasants fled, knights betrayed the crown, and the remnants of wealth and plenty that everyone previously enjoyed now divided them. Squandering what was left, much of the kingdom's treasures were thought to be lost, along with its valiant heroes--or so the legend goes.
Perhaps this tale can help to explain the mysterious Gold Coins appearing in the wilderness?
Take care when going after this tempting treasure, however, for it seems that there are some other characters after it, too...
Not only are these coveted gold coins shiny and, well, gold, but they will also be used to purchase some medieval must-haves! You can now pick up Knight and Mage items in the Seasonal Shop!
We will also be adding food and weapons to the store. :)
Here's some specific event details for you!
Piles of Gold Coins are appearing in every Adventure region in random piles of 1-10.
These are points and non-transferable.
All pets, save for the Finn, are catchable. Check the Aywapedia if you want to know where to find them. :)
We will make an announcement when the Seasonal Shop has been stocked with weapons and food, which will all be kept at similarly low prices. Gold is worth a lot, you know!
You have until May 11th at 11:59 PM to gather your coins and catch those pets.
The seasonal shop will be kept open through May 12th at 11:59 PM to give you extra time to grab your goodies!
(Yasu is working on opening Explore back up for us, so I'll keep you posted!)

I agree with Spellbinder about extending this event.
1. I haven't seen a single event after completely refilling my Oske's, Topaz's, energy twice. Topaz has 81 energy so that's saying something.
2. Adventure is lagging really badly for me so it takes a really long time to walk 81+ steps.
3. There really was no warning on the News page for this particular event so the people who normally don't get on during the week will likely miss out.

This event is awesome! I'd like to see it extended a bit, I haven't found one of the pets yet without using aynip.

I love this event, I've been waiting for something like this, so I would also love to see it extended. Mostly because I love anything fantasy, but there's something bugging me. For some reason I can find the normal rare and ultra rare pets without using anything in Adventure, yet for some reason I cannot find the very common event ones. :| I personally suggest that before you guys do anymore events you figure out what the heck is wrong with Adventure where it does this for almost every single event because its very disappointing not being able to get these pets. I remember with the robot day pets it was even worse where some of the pets were not coming up at all because of the potion. Also, please no more events before the server move, its really hard to enjoy these events with the lag that keeps appearing.
