It's Love Letter bombing time!

We have a lot of new players and many who will be experiencing Valentine's Day on Aywas for the first time this year, so let's show them how it's done and brighten each others' days with some sweet messages. <3

Here's how the Love Letter event works!

Love Letters are now R20 and are stocking in the Random Crap shop, but you might see them turn up elsewhere, too!
(We'll see how R20 goes.)

Every time you send a unique card, you and the recipient get one Valentine Point which you will be able to spend in the Seasonal Shop. It doesn't have anything in it now, but it will on Valentine's Day (for a full week starting on Valentine's Day, to be precise)! For now, you can just pace around in anticipation!

To send a card to someone for Valentine Points, click on the Love Letter in your inventory and hit Use to bring up the prompt. We've added a confirmation screen this year to ensure your letter gets delivered to the right address!

I'm going to do a point breakdown for you here as well so that there's no confusion. We want to spread the love around this year, so that means only unique cards earn points.

Point Breakdown

If I send you a card, we both get one point!
If you want to send me a card in return, we both get one point again!
So that is two points for each of us for a card swap.
Now, if I go to send you a card again, that's a lovely gesture and I'm sure you'll be happy with the card (I hope you are, anyway, that came from my heart! :C), but neither of us receive additional points.

You can view your Love Letters and current point total here! To make things easier for you, this year we have also added a Letters Sent tab so that you can see who you've already given a letter to!

not yet they aren't, lol...and what means "unique" card...can we do our own art on them? i wasn't here last year either...

Yes they are, they're just sold out. Unique card refers to the point breakdown I explained, you can put whatever text you want in the card. - Eri

I like that the love letters are being brought back but I kind of wish that they were easier to get. Last year, I couldn't find ANY in the Random Crap shop because most people buy them up to resell at ridiculous prices and I don't really have the time to stalk the shop to try and get them. I do like the new features though for keeping track of points and, even if I don't get as many love letters as I wish I could, i'll be looking forward to the seasonal shop pets this year c:
