Have you been good this year? According to the German tradition of Belsnickel, if you've been good all year -- meaning, you'll get presents -- Belsnickel will put a bell on your headboard while you're sleeping one week before Christmas.
December 18th is one week before Christmas... visit the Belsnickel page every two hours on the 18th to collect bells.
If you collect all seven, you can turn them in on Christmas into the Collections feature for a prize. (:

Oh, cool! I remember reading about Belsnickel when I was researching the Krampus a few years ago. Thank you for sharing this tradition with us. ^_^

Actually Der Belsnickle is the Pennsylvania Dutch version of the Krampus. It was a man who stuffs coal and switches into the stockings of bad children and throw candy and nuts to good children (and whip any adults who tried to take it from them xD ) . This tradition spread down through some of the other Apalachian communities. There isn't actually any bells involved, but this is still nice

even if its extended till 5am aywas time I'll prolly be at work.... if aywas keeps going down getting all the bells will be hard, especially since people might not be able to be every 2 hrs on it

This sounds fun, but I really hope it will last more than just one day. I've been having a lot of trouble getting pages to load on this site for the past few hours and I won't be able to be around all day.

I'm German and I haven't heard of this either... But I'll enjoy it nevertheless ^^
