Currently raffling a Bottled Starlight for Bottled Elemental Storms.
It kind of blows my mind how cheap this custom making item is, especially considering it's a rare...
Do you guys not like the pet or something? Is it too easy to get?

I've gotten /four/ site coloration cirrus and not a single bottled storm yet! D: Maybe I've got bad luck? I /adore/ cirrus. If I were a digital artist I'd be pumping them out like nobody's business.

Well, I've never gotten any of the bottles, because the last time I tried cooking of any sort one of the items I was supposed to get was 150k. For some people, that may be pretty cheap change, but it's not for me XD I barely even know what custom making items there are, let alone what they all do or how they're priced.

Massive lack of good designs... probably because it's not easy to figure out what to do to it... I mean I've been trying to think since it came out how I'd want to use the one I managed to get and I just don't know what to do ^^;
I'm torn between making it into a animal version of a character I have (if so which of the ubber amount I have would fit being a deer O.o; ) and just making it all pretty and awesome... though how to do that and not go past the percentage is where I get stuck ^^;

something with a super awesome pose like a forward charging pose, that way people that just want a super awesome looking pet can get that one and people that want the pet for more design purposes can get the other, since it would be showing more of the animal and thus easier to custom technically...
also since people don't want to use the ones that your able to do 50% edits for a metal pet maybe make that one harder to get but introduce a mini elemental storm that's for only metal customs?
that'll bring up the price of the regular one and make the people that like the pet as is super happy, 'cause they won't be wasting their chance to have an edited pet on a metal :3

I with people on the design thing. I've not seen any designs for sale that I actually liked. Even when artists who I normally love and subscribe to have made a design, I still wasn't wowed. I really love the site colorations though, so I still really like the pet. I also don't think it's overly easy to get. Cooking to level 50 requires a lot of items and a good chunk of time. Even once you make it to level 50, you could still just have the site colors to chose from. For people who cook a lot, they'll get a bunch but that's to be expected, just like people who explore a lot will have a lot of the rare explore pets.

The Cirrus is NOT too easy to get for everyone so I don't think drop percentage is the issue. I agree that maybe the swirls make it difficult to edit but I do like the pose. An alternate pose may be fun as well. I keep thinking of Bambi's father "The Great Prince of the Forest" and how he liked to stand on the cliff-side watching over the other deer.

I'm holding on to 2 elemental storms because I can't find designs I really want and don't want to waste them making something I don't love. I don't think it's too easy to get them as cooking for 50 levels takes some dedication and then it's still a chance you'll get site pets. While I like the cirrus it would be nice to have an alt line art for more interest.

I agree with not being enough designs. I love the Cirrus, but I don't want to use an item that gives me 50% edits to make a metal pet. :/ Just seems like a waste of the item to me. I would love for an alt line art. :3
