I chose Grape's entry because it provided an interesting character arc. Coupled with the significance of the Xaoc being clothed in white (pure, chastity, etc -- all the connotations of the color white) I felt the movement of her Xaoc character from evil to understanding suffering and morality was powerful.
Anyway, regarding Xaocs, which do you think is preferable?
1) Two Xaoc contests a month. Writing-based one during week 2 and design-based one during week 4.
2) One Xaoc contest a month, somewhere near the center. Two components, a writing and a design based contest.
In both situations there will be two winners every month. But which do you prefer, timeline wise?

option one gives a fair chance to everyone. One contest for those who write well, one contest for those who draw well. Combining them makes it harder to judge and allows a less diverse group of people to have access to the pet. !<.<.v.>.>! I thought this was like Tennis thought though. I thought we designed the pet once we won.

Option one.

I like the idea of one month as well. Gives people who have a stronger talent in writing, or drawing, a chance without having to worry about the other component.
And congrats Grape (:
