I chose Grape's entry because it provided an interesting character arc. Coupled with the significance of the Xaoc being clothed in white (pure, chastity, etc -- all the connotations of the color white) I felt the movement of her Xaoc character from evil to understanding suffering and morality was powerful.
Anyway, regarding Xaocs, which do you think is preferable?
1) Two Xaoc contests a month. Writing-based one during week 2 and design-based one during week 4.
2) One Xaoc contest a month, somewhere near the center. Two components, a writing and a design based contest.
In both situations there will be two winners every month. But which do you prefer, timeline wise?

!!! This is so awesome!
I was not expecting this. There were so many awesome entries. I like the second option, because usually people who can not write can draw well, and those who can not draw can often write well. It makes it fair to both sides of the site. c:
BUT, thanks for the congrats everyone. This really cheered me up like, so super duper much because I'm really sick today.

I like the idea of one a month, alternating between design, art, and writing, or things that are combination of two or three of those. For the reasons Grape said.
People tend to dedicate themselves to one or the other, and this gives everyone a chance.
(And keeps them more uncommon. XD)

I like the first option where the two contests are separate. :) It'll still give people who aren't around in the center of the month or who are not good at designs a chance. :)

I say option one, personaly. And the overlay works good, because you still have another 2 weeks to do the other contest when the 1st one ends.
