Navigation & Scav Forum
Site Update
I want to point out a couple new things in our navigation links. :3
- Under World, the Explore link has been removed and replaced with a direct link to Adventure.
- Under Archives, the old custom tutorial link has been replaced with a link to Skitty's updated Custom Guide.
- Under Community, we added a link to the Scavenger Hunt headquarters!
If you guys could do me a favor and please go here, then try playing around with your private team room and let me know how it goes, that would be great! We're starting off with a fresh board, so I want to make sure the visibility/access is working properly for you. :)

Looks like several new tropical themed pets were discovered this week!
Next week's bonus explore pets are the Maki, Oske, and Chromo!
If you color one of the above species and have it accepted, you'll receive 10 GP per coloration accepted instead of the normal 3GP!

New Clothes & Reminders!

We got a brand new shipment of summer clothes in!
You can now find a huge variety of shorts and other garments around the shops of Ay.
Don't forget that Hybrid Breeding Season is only hanging around for a short time!
You have until July 10th at 11:59 PM to snag the coins you want from the GP Shop!
The Tavi is also leaving us soon! :C
You have (approximately) until July 15th at 11:59 PM to submit all your Tavi customs with Raw Crystals before the new resident takes over. We'll be sad to see the Tavi go, but we have a rather fun genus coming up next!
I will give you a 24 hour notice before the Tavi leaves. :3

Breedings, Refunds, and You
Rules
I'm watching you...
Hey all! I know my newsposts aren't always the most interesting and some can cause a lot of sadfacing but I hope this isn't one of those times! I know this has been something that a lot of users have questioned over time so I wanted to talk a little about breeding refunds.
Yes, we do refund stuff on the breeding end, but at times we don't. There's been confusion on what we do and don't refund so here's a handy guide for you all.
PLEASE NOTE: The rule of thumb is it's a case by case basis a lot of times. Your best bet if you want something refunded is, if you see a mistake/you make an error/you have an issue and you know that you need a refund, message me (Frey #90), Mauri #1010 or Zephy #215 as soon as possible. Meaning, immediately when you realize the error. If you don't you risk not getting a refund if we notice something's up with your breeding in the queue.

Refunded Breedings:
I. Breedings between two separate genus of pets that are not valid for that coin. Example being someone accidentally potioning over a pet in an LBC Lacer breeding, rendering it Lacer x Oakl which isn't allowed for that coin.
II. Breedings with separate linearts (alt x normal for instance) without predicts. Example being if we come across your Alt Orimi x normal Orimi LBC in queue when assigning and you haven't done predicts yet, the coin will be refunded.

Not Refunded Breedings:
I. Any add-ons that aren't compatible for a breeding. Example being If you use a Hybrid Embryo on an MBC breeding... tough luck. Read what they do first!
II. Breedings that go against the rules for a coin. Example being breeding two pets that are clearly over 5% on a MBC, especially not checking their compatibility with Zephy's thread.
III. Breedings with pets that can't be bred, like special event pets specifically designated unbreedable or in the case of a glitch where the pet is not breedable but it somehow goes through. You have to tell staff about glitches like this or risk losing your coin. A good example of the first is trying to breed two Xaocs with an LBC... haha just don't try.
IV. Breedings with pets that aren't allowed for a particular coin. Example being breeding two Inari with an MBC. You can't use this coin for the pair so it'll be automatically rejected.
V. Requested rejections so you can add any add-ons to the breeding that you forgot to do upon submission.
VI. Requested rejections without any sort of mistake or reason, aside from wanting the coin back. If you decided two months in that you don't want the breeding anymore, you won't have it refunded, sorry.

I know these might sound kind of harsh but like I stated above, if you find you did something in error message a breeding mod! I give refunds, but Mauri #1010 or Zephy #215 are also authorized to give out rejections or refunds on a case-by-case basis. You're always better off reading all rules and getting to one of us if you make a mistake. Hopefully this will shed some light on why some people get refunds and why some don't too! It's not meant to be unfair, it's meant to get you to reeeead.

Pet Shop Update

We would like to welcome you to the new and improved Aywas Pet Shop!
We dusted, cleaned, and put a new coat of paint on everything! Except the pets. we did not paint the pets.
You might also notice that the Pet Shop has a whole new stock of pets! These pets have set prices instead of the old account-based (number of pets you own) prices. We tiered the prices so that all users have the chance of getting some pets from this shop!
The Pet Shop is now on a stock rotation schedule. The stock will be changing every 3 months from here on out. We will give you a week or two of warning before each stock change. After the pets are removed from the pet shop they will be retired. That means you can no longer get these pets after they are removed from the shop. So grab them while you can!
If you want to have the chance of getting a design of yours into the pet shop, go ahead and submit them to the Pet Coloration Submissions forum. Most of the submitted designs will be put into explore/adventure, but some random designs will be kept to go into the pet shop!
If your design is now in the pet shop please contact Kyu (#1010) for your free copy. That's right, if your design is accepted and put in the shop you get a free copy. That could save you a good amount of BP!
I hope you all enjoy the new pets and the new stock rotation system! Hopefully this brings some excitement and joy back to the Aywas Pet Shop!
