Rules
Two things that should please you all were discussed tonight with Slash among a few other things that as soon as we iron them out will prove to be hopefully very happy things for you all.
First is that we are now giving out Hybrid PSDs.* This means any hybrid breeding, from EBC, BC, or HBC coins (and normal RBC hybrids too!). Just be nice to your artists if you ask them for the PSD files, don't swamp them too much! Use the Offspring PSD Search to look for your babby artists and ask, unless you know who did your offspring. You can always check the Breeding Blogs as well to see who has your pair.
* I want to add though that we are NOT allowing people to come to admins/mods directly and ask for them to give out PSDs. Artists only. Search for your artist. Artists are also not allowed to give out any files that are not their own, so don't ask them for PSD files that you know they don't have!
Second, we're going to be phasing out BC candies (and maybe make them have a new use someday) when you want to submit predicts for your BC/EBC/HBC breedings. Hopefully this will encourage people to submit them without having to pay an extra fee. For now, don't use your candies any longer, they aren't needed for breedings from hereon out (but we cannot refund anything prior to this newspost). Hang onto them so we can figure out a nice way to use them!
If anything else comes up I'll be sure to post it! Look below for the raffle though, it's really important and really cool (and I want some of those pairs ahhhhh).

Adventure Pet Revamp

There have been a couple of significant changes to the weekly Adventure Pet system!
First of all, it's not weekly anymore. Adventure pets will be released every other week. In addition, only six pets will be released at a time. We've decided the site does not need 9 pets a week being added into Adventure. We have a lot of pets available on site, and while we want it to grow... we don't feel the need for it to grow that quickly.
Another rather large change is that the weekly bonus system is removed. There will be no more weekly "bonus" species. While the bonus species helped motivate users to submit designs of specific species, we were shelling out far too much GP overall. If we have a dire need for a specific species, we may offer a bonus for that species at that time. But it will not be a regular occurrence.
This does not effect the current Vyne, Rogr, and Lacer "bonus" incentive currently going on mentioned in this news post. If you submit a design for any of those 3 species, and have it accepted, you will get 10 GP per accepted design. On Friday August 10th at 11:59 PM AST , this bonus incentive will end, so submit your designs for these species before then!
The pet coloration submissions forum now has a sticky thread: Pet Colorations 101. This thread explains the Adventure Pet system along with answering some frequently asked questions. Please be sure to read it!
While the weekly bonus species incentive has been removed, don't forget that you can earn SP through the Pet Submissions Forum! You can also earn GP, and even earn Contributer Status. Hooray for purple posts!

But, oh no, one also seems quite upset.
Perhaps you should go catch it!
Next week's bonus Adventure pets are the Vyne, Rogr, and Lacer!
If you color one of the above species and have it accepted, you'll receive 10 GP per coloration accepted instead of the normal 3GP!
If you want to design some, go and post them in their respective threads here!

The Gold Star Charm is a usable item, meaning use it from the item menu on the Adventure screen.
If you have it equipped, please unequip it!
If you equipped yours and it broke prematurely, contact me via PM.
I will be changing the status on the GSC so that it isn't available in the equipment area, but I need the equipped charms removed first. I contacted *most* people that this applied to already, but here's an official announcement if you snuck by me. :)
In light of the recent scratchcard changes, you guys have really been coming up with some cool suggestions that Frey and I like!
If you're not much of a forum-goer or don't hang out in Suggestions much, please consider swinging by and give us your opinion on the ideas that cropped up.

A few breeding changes...

Figured I would newspost this since it's important and I have something else to report to make a valid announcement.
Raised the price of Fertility Potions from 8 to 12 GP, because there's near 1/3 of LBC breedings assigned out with them used currently, and I feel that they need a price raise to compensate with the GP in the system. They seem very easy to get and are used really often, and artists are having a hard time keeping up.
Any future price changes will be announced, but please understand the change keeps up with demand and queue load.
Scratchcard coin wins no longer give out gold Breeding Coins, only Metal Breeding Coins now. This was not to give an unfair advantage to people or anything, it was simply because BCs were meant to be a donation/rare contest privilege... and we'd like to keep it that way.
If you want to comment on this newspost I'll leave it open, but please comment appropriately and don't be disrespectful. If you only intend to rant there are appropriate forums, but if you have constructive commentary you can voice it. Nothing we admins ever do is to directly hurt users or make the game impossible, it's always to balance it and make it fair with compromising and suggestions when needed.

I also wanted to make a quick, informative announcement about official shops.
You might've noticed that some look unusually sparse, and some have a reasonable amount of items instead of overflowing with them. What's happening is that we're working on the restock system to achieve a balance between available items and overabundance to the point of a store crashing. It's a work in progress, so I'll let you know when it's stable. :3
