It's time to drink to a new month! Helloooo September~!
We'll start off the new month with a colorful parade of September-themed pets to add to your collections!
Let's start off with 9 pretty pets that celebrate everything from a rare blue moon to the tiniest of leaves.
They are eagerly awaiting you in the GP Shop! :3

Coding Corner
Yasu has been doing a crazy amount of work for us over the last month! We had to re-prioritize some events around other programming necessities, so you'll see a lot of events and themed days appearing in September that you might've been wondering about.
Here are some snippets of what Yasu has been doing!
- Admin Panel breedable species option.
We all know that pets can be breedable or unbreedable, but never before have we had the option to make an entire species unbreedable. Now we can ensure no Apocalypse Unuses will accidentally end up in the queue! (I haven't edited them yet, but we have the tools to do so, so you'll see that option being used more.)
- Working Adventure items.
You can now use Bone Necklace, Book of Repelling, Antifreeze Potion and Poison Gem! Let us know if you encounter any problems with those. More to come!
Note about the Bone Necklace: This item is usable from the battle menu and essentially keeps you from KOing your opponent, which is helpful for captures. However, be warned--once the item is put into effect (aka, "saves" the opponent), it breaks, so it's basically one-use.
- Crons.
All highscore crons should have been executed by now. If you were awarded the wrong placement, post here. Even though we keep having problems with these crons, I assure you Yasu is doing his best to wrangle them and has been making progress from month to month!
- Other.
Yasu has been doing prep work for Quick Stock, uncoded items, Adventure issues and more! We're really excited about all the progress Aywas has been making and will keep you posted with future developments. :3
What's that other thing happening soon?
Oh yeah, Aywas' birthday is coming up in a month! Staff is going to be working especially hard to make all the necessary preparations, so if I'm a little quiet, that's why. If you have a suggestion for something special you'd like to see in honor of the momentous occasion, let us know.

What? What's this? Transfers?
New Feature
I wonder what this means...
Ah, wait! Could this be a hint towards transferring babies between accounts? With no hassle? Why yes it is!
If you look at your breeding requests now and click on Review Breeding, you'll notice a new feature that allows you to send the eggs to someone else when the breeding is finished. No more borrowing of pets for a breeding, and if you move out of your account, easy transfer of the eggs. Just type in the new account ID so when it finishes it goes straight there!

PSD Coloring Event!

Do you have uncolored PSDs? Can't find a colorist?
Then this event is for you! In this event, users who have PSD uses they'd like colored by other users can post a thread in the event forum with a list of their PSDs and a link to download them.
Then, other users can download those PSDs, color them for you, and post them up for you.
What do the colorists get out of this?
Everyone who submits a coloration that meets the criteria will earn a raffle ticket to win one of the following rare customs: click for a full list. Some of them are featured in this news post!
The criteria is simple: have colored lineart, color the shading, and give it decent markings. Everyone can participate, even if you don't consider yourself a strong artist, simply by checking off each of the criteria.
So, do colorations for other people to make them happy, and earn raffle tickets!
Not only that, but the Top 10 best colorations (as chosen by staff) will win some prizes!
1st Place: Custom Neura Voucher (50%) and $50.00 USD
2nd - 5th: Bottled Starlight and $25 USD
6th - 10th: Reg or Alt Hybrid Voucher (50%) and $15 USD
This event is going to end on September 22, 2012, giving you three weeks to participate. Have fun!

Combat Radioactivity by Adding Radioactivity!

Well we couldn't figure out where the radioactivity was coming from... but the levels are going down. I guess this ends our radioactive adventure... or does it?
I got pulled away from the computer before I could release the last stock of radioactive breeding coins. They're just sitting here so I figure why not stock them anyway! They'll be appearing momentarily. The RBCs will go back into the premium shop at their normal price after this last stock. Hope you all had fun!
But remember, the fun is just beginning. *cackles*
If you submit your RBC/RBP breeding on September 2nd you have a small chance of obtaining a rare species breedable baby.
If you submit your RBC/RBP breeding on September 3rd you have a small chance of receiving 2 babies instead of the usual single baby. If your breeding does receive two babies, only one has the usual chance of being a normal, breedable common/uncommon/hybrid baby. The other baby is guaranteed to be a mutant.
I guess you'll just have to wait and see what other abnormalities will appear. Have you decided what date you'll submit your radioactive coins (or RBPs) on? Decide soon!

Radioactive Overload!
Random Silliness
There was a disturbance this afternoon. We're not really sure what caused it, but Aywas has higher radioactivity levels than we've ever seen before!
Nothing major on site seems to be affected by this change. While trying to identify the source of the radioactivity, we realized that the Radioactive Breeding Coins on site have been sucking up all the extra radioactivity.
While we try to find the source and fix the high levels, we're going to be putting some Radioactive Breeding Coins into the site to help prevent any adverse effects.
For the next 24 hours, RBCs will be stocked and sold in random site shops at random times.
Because of the radioactivity, the RBCs are acting a bit different than normal. If you own a RBP, they will also be affected during these dates.
If you submit your RBC/RBP breeding on September 2nd you have a small chance of obtaining a rare species breedable baby.
If you submit your RBC/RBP breeding on September 3rd you have a small chance of receiving 2 babies instead of the usual single baby. If your breeding does receive two babies, only one has the usual chance of being a normal, breedable common/uncommon/hybrid baby. The other baby is guaranteed to be a mutant.
There are some other abnormalities appearing for this coin... but I think I'll just keep those a mystery. Who knows! Maybe some other funky random things will happen to your radioactive breedings if you submit them on September 2nd or 3rd. You'll just have to try it and find out. ;)
