Steampunk Festival Shop!
Site Update
The Steampunk Event Shop is now open for business!
To kick off the party, we have plenty of food items for your pet to fuel up on and keep you going through the wee hours of the morning.
You did dress appropriately for the festival, didn't you?
*gasp* Nothing to wear? We'll fix that!
We have three costume sets to choose from: Sky Pilot, Steampunk Gent, and Steampunk Lady.
Remember to use the Preview Wardrobe feature if you'd like to check out how a specific item looks and if it'll go with your current ensemble. :3
Now, I wouldn't recommend bringing your Cane Shooter or Clock Shield since these are not accessories, but weaponry! The Shooter will give you a power and speed bonus, and the Shield will give you a boost in toughness and some immunity from Grass.
For our fauna lovers, we have a little Clockwork Spider!
If you have Gears burning a hole in your pocket, though, you might be interested to invest in one of these...
Victorian Pocketwatches! This pocketwatch is a breeding add-on compatible with BC and HBC that will tell the artist to give your offspring some Steampunk traits. Oooh!
The coveted Steam Beast Blueprints are now on sale! Remember, this item is what you need to submit an SCC design with up to 30% edits of the pet currently guarding the Event Shop. :)

Remember, the blueprints have limited magic. You have until June 11th at 11:59 p.m. to submit your design. After that, the item will turn into a collectable, and you will only be able to create the SCC with Yuki's permission and a Silver Potion.
For our gamblers and pet lovers, we have an Oil Potion!
This will turn your active pet into one of the Event Shop pets.

Gears are available through June 8th at 11:59 p.m.
The Event Shop will be open through June 9th at 11:59 p.m. to give you an extra day to grab your goodies!
And as another reminder, Steam Beast Blueprints will work through June 11th at 11:59 p.m. so you have some bonus time to snag a design.

This is your warning to NOT purchase anything from the Event Shop until it is declared as being officially open. As I'm stocking the shop, things may change price, function, etc., and we will NOT issue any refunds for purchases made prior to the post announcing that the store is officially open!
(You have until the 8th at 11:59 p.m. to collect Gears, don't panic. XD)

Apocalypse Hound Shop!
Site Update
No one knows what happened after that. Lester was never seen again. Some say that Putman let Lester out alive out of respect for their previous partnership. Others say he followed orders, loyal to the Mother Hound until the end...
The only thing anyone knows for sure is that the Mother Hound won. Out of the stolen livers and spilled blood, her victims rose again, this time as her subjects. With this newfound power, she forced all who opposed her to kneel to her might. The city council, the law enforcement, and the hooligans she had used as her scapegoats all became her personal minions.
Those who went to investigate what happened to the quaint little town came back barely alive. No sleuth could infiltrate it, no soldiers could dent it. Eventually, the political leaders of Ay agreed that they had but one option: destroy all roads to to the town and try to forget it ever existed. Attempting to rescue what little survivors remained would risk more than they could possibly gain, and so the streets were left to the Mother Hound's rule.
At least, that's what they say.
I mean, it's all just a story to get the kids to wet their pants, right? "Apocalypse Hounds" probably aren't even real. Heheheheh.

Neura Raffle | Xaoc Raffle

I think you'll be able to feel your way through Famine's domain, but we do have a couple of special items hanging out in the shop that I'd like to spotlight!
First up is the Goblet of the Hound, which is a custom creator that makes an Apocalypse Alt Insi or Quol!

Next up is a bottle of Cursed Waters. If you think this looks gross and diseased, just think about how your poor pets are going to feel! Why would you want to let your pets drink this vile concoction? Because it's a new breeding add-on!
If used with a BC or a HBC, the offspring may take on a more malevolent, corrupted form. Snarly faces, claws, horns, and other monster-like edits will properly transform a breeding into something much more... sinister.
The Apocalypse Hound Theme will look familiar to those of you who spent any length of time Downtown. Activating this item will permanently unlock the Apocalypse site theme for you!
One item that you will NOT yet see in the shop is the Hound Fetus Jar. This is a very limited, special item that will enable you to make an Apocalypse Hound SCC with up to 30% edits. Per Jester's request, we will be releasing a total of 10 in batches of 2 at various times to hit multiple timezones. The price will be 60,000 points. I will give you at least 24 hours notice before the first set goes in, so look for that closer to the end of the week!
Did I mention Famine is buried in awesomely creepy HA wearables?
Don't forget that you have the Preview Wardrobe feature at your disposal if you are debating which clothing items would suit your HA character. :3

Famine's Feast will be stocking Apocalypse-related goodies through Monday June 10th at 11:59 p.m., at which point Downtown will close. The Xaoc and Neura raffles will be drawn on the 11th.

Tiny Silver Potions
Items
One item the userbase has been requesting is a Silver Potion for unedited silver pets. The Tiny Silver Potion is now stocking in the GP Shop for that function.
The official ruling for this item is that the pet submitted with it must match either of the founders' linearts. As founders tend to have slight edits from each other, this seems the fairest way to handle it =3

Apocalypse Trophies

Trophies have been awarded for the Apocalypse Hound event!
Everyone who participated received some kind of a trophy, and you can find these on your personal trophies page (hint: it's in the link box on your profile).
The final story post and grand opening of the soul shop will appear tomorrow night--along with some extra surprises!
We're borrowing Famine's shop for the prizes for this event, but this is your warning to NOT purchase anything from the shop until it is declared as being officially open. We will NOT issue any refunds for broken/non-working items, things that change function or price, etc.
(Famine's Gothic Lolita stock will return after prizes are cleared out.)

Little updates!

Evening!
I would just like to take a moment to spotlight some of the work Loscil did over the weekend, which you may or may not have already noticed. :3
When you click on an item in the Item Database, you will now see an option to "Search for this item on the marketplace." All you need to do is click on this link and you will be taken to the shop search results for that item! Pretty handy, eh?
Now when you view the "My Posts" page, clicking on the thread title will *gasp* take you to the actual post!
There is now a sort by most/least quantity for inventories. You'll see these options as Quantity Descending and Quantity Ascending. I was very dismayed to see how many Clown Cookies we have accumulated. ;~;
I touched on this in the big June news post, but the Wardrobe now has a scrolling pane!
All of these were implemented directly from our To-Do List! :3
