As we received a lot of positive feedback, we are continuing the restricted switches system.
Icefeather has been added to the active artists list and can now be selected with any newly submitted breedings, or to replace inactive artists listed with your breeding already in queue. Please refer to the status thread to see if you have an inactive artist listed, and give a warm welcome to our new artist. :)

RBC kickback, late breedings, and Adopt a Custom

Couple bits of housekeeping for everyone!
Some of you have noticed that RBC kickbacks are now gone. Staff had been unaware that allowing predicts again meant it had a kickback at all, and when I was alerted to it the consensus was to stop the kickback for RBC altogether. RBC and Derp aren't supposed to have a kickback for predicts. While this may be an inconvenience to some, it was never a stated fact for these two coins so we are using this newspost to properly clarify this for the future.
I know a few people have asked about their breedings having been assigned for awhile too -- I wanted to address this concern. January has been a particularly tough month on a lot of our artists, so there was a limited pool to reassign to, meaning some look as if they've been assigned a full month or longer. Some artists also came back and agreed to finish the list they've had for that extended time. So if you have been waiting on a breeding, never fear! They should be coming back within the next week, or being reassigned if need be.
Lastly, just a friendly reminder that the Adopt a Custom feature has been stocked up with pets, so if you're interested in applying for one, there's still a few from January left and a whole slew of gorgeous February customs up for grabs! :3 Our Knowledge Base has an article on how the feature works, so get your creativity flowing and you might be able to take home a new friend!
More work is going on behind the scenes to clean up a few other areas on the breeding side, so expect more updates coming soon!

Pet Shop Bug Fixes

The programmer fixed the following bugs with the Pet Shop:
- if visiting a user's shop and clicking on 'pet shop', it will not link to this user's pet shop but you are linked to your own default shop page
- pagination of shops
- multiple open tabs and moving pets to shop
- placing a pet from lair to shop refreshes the page with the results
- placing a pet form lair group/page to shop sticks to the page when refreshing
- updating prices sticks to the page when refreshing
- "All Species" customs search works properly
- aesthetics change for Shop menu
- requires user to set BP or GP instead of default BP
Keep reporting anything you notice that seems wonky, the moderators are on top of keeping track of issues and forwarding them to the programmer.

Pet Shop
Site Update
Okay, some stuff to announce! The brand new Pet Shop is now functional and linked from the normal User Shop menu. There, you can price pets that you want to put up for sale.
You can put a pet up for sale from the My Pets menu, its profile page, or by using the mass move feature in Lairs.
The Shop Search's Pet Search is tied into the new Pet Shops and functional now as well.
Because of the nature of the new search, some of the options were removed, like searching for breeding available pets or searching for pets not for sale. That was causing all of the lag and needed to be removed. We'll consider adding a Harem feature for finding breeding partners later when other programming necessities have been addressed.
The Price Helper for pets will be re-coded into the new system in a couple of weeks, since there's no point to having it now when there are no pets on the market. Tomorrow we will try looking into adding a pet sale history.
