Turtle Spawning Season

This is the final roundup call for Turtle Egg submissions - you've got a few more hours before the stroke of midnight. Remember that the deadline applies to new submissions, not designs that have been rejected and are trying again.
I keep track of turtles which were bumped (for white backgrounds or over edited, etc.) and you can resubmit those at your leisure. Anything in the Crystal Check or Copyright Check lines is also safe, regardless of when you get a response. I've mentioned this before but figured it was worth a reiteration given these types of events always attract a large number of first time submissions. : )
Crystal Check and Custom Queues should be picking back up this week in speed, the sudden spawning of thousands of turtles put a bit of a crimp in the turnaround times.

We have decided to lower the price of the PMBC to $7.99 and its talisman to $22.99.
Thank you for your patience as we figure out how this breeding coin fits into our economy and supply and demand. Our earlier change with married pets has allowed us to make this price drop.

Programmer
Site Update
We are happy to announce we have a +1 on our programming team! Be sure to welcome Lyro (#55750). He also works for Felisfire, so we know he's good ;)
He has a nice long list of things to do piled up on him as a welcome from the staff. Such things include fixing some errors (setting bred eggs to transfer, commas messing with prices, pet shop links), adding quality of life additions (mail notifications, collapsible genus guide, completed collections hidden, multiple choice news post polls), finishing up existing features (the library and pet price helper) and adding new infrastructure to the breeding panel (rating offspring system for admins to view and an integrated breeding mistakes feature to streamline mistake fixing).
We're especially excited about the integrated breeding mistakes queue, as we know that's been trouble. It will allow a user to submit their feedback for an offspring and request it be fixed to the breeding panel, where it then will be assigned to an artist's mistakes queue.
Lyro's proven himself to be very fast and reliable on Felisfire, so we're looking forward to good things in the near future!
