Welcome to the end of the month!
Kids are beginning to head back to school, parents are rejoicing, and teachers are already missing their weekends. Within the next few days we will have our September Monthly Post, however before then there is a few matters I would like to touch base on!
First, in celebration of our random sales we are putting some very old items into the USD Shop. As with the others, these items will remain until Friday Night! So if you have always wanted a Mini Fridge or a Magic Chemistry set, now is the time to grab one up!
The second point is our USD SCC Makers will be retiring along with the September Monthly News post. So this is your last time to collect them! To help refresh your memories, these are the SCC's currently available!

Time to party!

It has been a while in the making, but I am happy to announce the The Zombie is finally fixed! This regenerating alcoholic beverage now works properly and regenerates as it should!
I also want to do a special shoutout to our amazing coder, *Yasu (#3410), because tomorrow (August 30th) is his birthday!
He has been an absolute blessing, and we would be lost without him! <3 So to celebrate, you can visit the Advent Calendar all day on the 30th and pick up a free The Zombie!
To celebrate our Random Sales we are also going to put Alidae Eggs and Transitional Fossil Eggs on sale! One of our wonderful Grand Artists has been working on those lately and the queues have become a little low. Remember, if you want to use one without the chosen genus' you can also add on a Hybrid Genetics Kit! These eggs will only be on sale until Friday, September 2nd! So grab them while you can!
As a small note, Blind Date lists are being assigned in even sets now, so each pairings offspring will get the same artist!

Sales, Updates, and Moderators - Oh My!

Happy Friday~ I have several points I would like to touch on today so I will try to divide things up by category!
First up is USD Sales!
There seemed to be quite a bit of a positive reaction to our last sale, so we have decided to do Random Sales! They are not set by schedule, just by what we see around the forums and users reactions.
This sale will last 1 Week, until Friday, September 2nd at 11:59pm AST.
You will be able to find the Painted Gold and Painted Gold Pile on sale for $5 and $14 respectively!
The Greater Lifeseed has been dropped to $25!
Fox Net and Snake Trap have both been dropped to $4 to try to help clear out the boxes a little bit.
Updates
There are a few changes we would like to make everyone aware of:
The Grand Edit Potion has had its price raised to $30 to better reflect the pay the artists receive. We apologize for any inconvenience this causes!
We are also looking for more SCC Panel artists! If we get enough new artists, we may do a SCC sale to help celebrate!
We also realized there was something not well clarified in any Knowledge Base article regarding alt-hybrids.
When an alt-hybrid is bred to another alt-hybrid, or any other genus without a Magic Custom Trove being attached, there is only a slim chance to produce another alt-hybrid. Typically it will produce a baby of normal lines respective to the parent genera. Since this was not clarified well, we will honor any breedings currently in queue prior to this news post that do not have a trove attached.
I would like to take this moment to wish a congratulations to Rudy (#4485) for becoming our next Super Mod! You may have noticed she has taken over many of the literary-based responsibilities around the site, and she is also going to be helping me with Slashbot in the future.
Speaking of Moderators, we know it has been a long time since we put out Moderator Applications, so we are opening them again! Please visit the linked news post for information! If you have already applied in the last batch, please do not reapply. We will be contacting potential Moderators shortly!

Good afternoon everyone, this is just a real quick notice that the Musical Clothes and Musical Pets contest threads are re-opened!
After discussing the situation with our wonderful Slashbotee, Ender (#42131), we have decided the amount of entries were disappointing, so we are going to accept submissions up until September 3rd, perhaps later depending on how things go. But please try to get any new submissions in by then!
