Sorry about Advent this morning folks, I came home yesterday from a double shift at my offline job and passed out. We think I have Bronchitis and I just basically feel like death, so I had thought I had advent set up, but I was mistaken.
I have prepared it for today, and hope it was early enough for everyone to be able to get it.

Tricks or Treats?

Welcome to part 2 of the Trick or Treating explosion! We have had a lot of positive feedback for our NPCs, and they have absolutely loved the responses (positive and negative, Aketch is pretty much too hungry to care either way), and they have decided to open their own doors!
You can visit the Site Characters page under the World tab, and Trick or Treat each of them! Some of them might reward you for certain things, others might trick you just because~
Some special notes: To help even out the Unus event, the leaders may offer you a personal buff whenever you visit them! This buff is only available to those whose team is not in the lead, but you may get candy either way. You can visit the NPC's once every four hours! So go and say hi!

Aketch Repellent!

Staff would like to give a very special shout out to the folks over in the Aketch Repellent Thread! They have been working tirelessly to try to figure out the Trick or Treating system and recently their search has been fruitful! They discovered through rigorous testing that the trick was not Aketch.. but Greta!
This mischievous Lunaris actually swaps your Karma! So even those folks who have been giving out nothing but candy can still turn to negative Karma once they see her! She's just so sneaky and treacherous!
So once more, a very, very special shout out to that thread! You worked together as a team, and you were able to crack the code! There is still a bit more that they are working on, so if anyone is interested in helping out go on over, their quite the friendly group!

Support Email

Lately we're getting a lot of emails in to support about matters that would be best communicated to a moderator, such as glitches and user issues. While the email is closely monitored, contacting staff on site is more likely to get a faster response and resolution, due to our current presence on site when you contact us.
For those not familiar with the support email, it is typically reserved for issues where a user cannot access their account to contact staff directly. Please be aware that contacting the email should be from the email you signed up to the website with, and shouldn't be bumped more than once a week as this clutters the email and means it's much less likely that we will see everything coming in.
Also - we seem to be getting a lot of emails about accounts not being accepted within 24 hours of applying, from both the registering person and their on-site friends. Please remember that October through December are exceptionally busy for staff, and while we try to process applications as soon as possible, it is highly unlikely that it will be in less than 48 hours of registration.
