There will be five winners: one for each hybrid species (griffin, paleo, quetzal, kyre, and manticore).
Note the rules:
1) If you win, your hybrid will not be breedable
2) 30% or less lineart edits (pretend it's a Blue Custom)
3) You may only submit entries for one species, but you may submit as many entries in that species category as you want.

So i've got quite a few art updates to go ahead and let you all know of.... please to pay attention. 8D
1. Custom Rules and Guidelines has been updated to include flame and candy cane custom crystals as well as blue custom orbs. Please make sure you reread over these key areas.
2. Along with the crystals, two rules were updated and were hopefully made a bit more clear. This would be what types of edits concerning accessories and items are allowed. Also, what defines them and what defines an edit. I'm not the greatest with words, so if you feel you can better explain what I mean then you are more than welcome to PM me or post here.
4. Any soli x oakl hybrid submission will result in a kyre. All melo x soli hybrid breedings starting as soon as this new post is submitted will result in a quetzal. If you submited any melo x soli hybrid breedings before this post updated was posted you still have a 50/50 chance of getting either species, or both

4b. MELO x OAKL BREEDINGS DO NOT RESULT IN HYBRIDS. I saw a few melo x oakl hybrid breedings, and I will go ahead and allow them to be kyres, but after this post NO MORE. There was a big and giant fat typo which was edited in the polled news post.
3. There are 40 hybrid breedings currently in line. 3 separate lists have been made and sent out. Do not forget that each hybrid is hand drawn specifically by the artists whom also have their own personal things. Please give this time... they will be working as quickly as possible. :]
4. Are you interested in being a hybrid artist or pet coloration artist still? Feel free to e-mail me at [email protected] for an application. Already submitted? Sorry, unfortunately that means you were not chosen for the position. However, you are more than welcome to reapply! Just e-mail me stating this.
5. As the news post said, you are allowed to submit oakls as both metal custom crystals or flame custom crystals. However, the option for the oakl species hasn't been coded yet. This will be fixed shortly!
6. All same species hybrid breedings from now on will be converted to new line art. This includes those same species hybrid breedings that are currently in queue.
That's it for now guys. It's time for me to get back to being my mean and vicious doberman self. Hurrhurr.

Custom Crystals now support overlaying new customs onto old pets you own.

Maybe Shoe will give you this cute, stuffed replica (lol) of himself if you poke him during the day! :D
Rogue has a few copies of these...though he thinks they're creepy... and if his zap fails, he might give you one out of pity.
Xero would be so grateful if you'd talk to him 31 days in a row! He'd be so grateful he'd give you this.
Looks like Zave hands these out sometimes when he gives out free food...don't eat it! It's too cute to be eaten!
OMG! Chimera is so cute! He can be bribed with gold pieces to make this for you by commission... but he's so offended this exists that he raised the price of Metal Custom Crystals in his anger :( Hopefully he cools down soon and lowers them again...

Hybrid Redraws & other stuff

I am so excited to announce I'm finally done coloring the hybrid redraws. They took me like three weeks, lol! C: The previous hybrid drawings were done by a contracted artist, but we got them redrawn by our official pet artist! They look so much better now!

Due to the results of the previous poll (see one news post down), Kyres are going to officially be Soli x Oakl from all breedings submitted after this news post. Any Melo x Soli currently in the queue can become a kyre.
BJ and I discussed how we wanted to handle Oakl customs, now that Kyres come from Oakls. We decided to allow Oakl customs to come from Metal Custom Crystals. That means, if you want lineart edited Oakls, you have to get a Flame Custom Crystal. But if you want the pattern of a unique oakl, a Metal will do just fine. :)

Kyres

So, for a while I have been debating the hybrid breeding of Melo x Soli. Currently you have a 50/50 chance of getting either a Quetzel or a Kyre, but many people like one over the other and feel disappointed when they get the wrong hybrid pet.
I have long been considering switching the Kyre to being Oakl x Soli. That way, when you breed a melo x soli you will ALWAYS get a quetzal, and when you get oakl x soli you will ALWAYS get a kyre.
Voice your opinion.

Breeding Coins are in the GP shop for 75 GP for a week. They will exit the GP Shop on the 29th and will not return until early April/late March.
You can now breed Insi x Melo to get a MANTICORE!
