With the release of the new hybrids users have questioned the difference between the coloring on the original defaults versus the coloring on the newer defaults. So we want your opinion... Should we recolor the quetzal, griffin, kyre, and paleo defaults or leave them as they are? By tomorrow night this poll must have reached a 60% user acceptance in order for us to implement this. We will be hosting a contest with 12 winners in total (the 2 we like best of each species) and will hold another poll for users to pick their favorite in order to choose which entry will be the new default.
I'd also like to give everyone a heads up that along with our Monthly Pet Design, Monthly BP Shop, and Monthly Custom contests I will also be posting a Poem Contest tomorrow for July. You'll be asked to create 3 Aywas related poems and winners will get to choose from a prize pool. More details will be included when I post links to the new contests tomorrow. Judging forms for the current contests will be sent out tonight so hurry up and get your last minute entries in!
Speaking of judging contests, i'm in dire need of more judges! Don't forget to post your application on this thread and help out your fellow players!
Last but not least, the coloration threads currently found in events will be gone through tomorrow and gp will be awarded to accepted colorations in time for the BC release.

For the July 1 - 9th release, to accommodate the six (count 'em) new hybrids that will be released, Breeding Coins will be BUY 2 GET ONE FREE.
You will be able to take advantage of this opportunity by transferring 150 GP directly to account #1 when the 1st rolls around and all through the week-long sale, NOT BUYING THEM FROM THE SHOP.
Promotion will be valid from midnight July 1 - 11:59 July 8th, giving you a whole extra day to buy BCs!

Phantos 2 + Previews

A lot of people didn't want a ghost dog, so we'll be keeping the phanto roughly the same. We have a redraw that has the phanto the same as it was in the original, then we have a redraw of Skitty's design that she submitted in the news comments:
Also, remember, July 1 - 9th is BREEDING COIN SEASON!!! Breeding coins will be in the GP Shop for 75 GP as they always are. Here are the defaults for the new hybrids coming out during breeding coin season (sans the foo dog, as its not done yet):

Okay, enjoy! The foo dog will be done in time for the BC release but you'll have to be surprised when you see its default ;)

Phanto Changes

Hi guys! Here's something I've been thinking about: many of you seem to really dislike the phanto, and I'd like to ask: why? Is it because it's not animal-enough? What about the design or pet in general do you dislike?
We have been considering changing the phanto into a ghost dog-like sort of thing (not necessarily a dog, but a ghost quad). Would you like the phanto more this way? Do you prefer it the way it is now? We want you to be happy!
Please share your thoughts!

Ever notice that some users don't have avatars on the forums? I am going to be opening an ongoing event thread for anyone to submit an avatar to be used on a graphics page in V3 - graphics like avatars, banners, etc that can be used by any user!
Submit avatars here! If they're accepted you get 1 GP per avatar!
Please note that quality over quantity is appreciated for avatars!

HAD ENOUGH OF ME YET? Hahahaha.
We're now allowing you to charge/pay for user-submitted baby predicts. There's a cap on what you can charge, though. No more than 1 GP/~100k BP (aka whatever the going price of GP is at the time in BP, no idea what it's at right now, BUT YOU GUYS SHOULD, savvy economists) per offspring. This means 4 GP/the equivalent per offspring-set is what is allowed. The cap is so that the offspring artists don't get undercut in how much we pay them for their own creations.
And the heart fruit image is because I heart you guys. :C
