LIONFISH COMMANDS YOU TO LOOK AT THESE SHINY UPDATED RULES.
Still needs some tweaking in regards to formatting and such, but the important parts are there! All in one place, and fully updated. The link in the navigation bar will be modified to redirect to this thread soon. Now nobody has any excuse not to know what the custom rules are. :P
We are also taking this opportunity to roll out two new rule updates in regards to customs.
Items are now allowed, meaning you no longer need a SCC to make a pet holding a piece of fruit or a ball or something. Keep in mind, however, that the rules disallowing minipets and backgrounds are still in effect and unchanged.
Silver Species now are allowed up to 30% edit room while still being LBC breedable, as opposed to the original 10%. This should give you some more freedom to add edit variety to your Silver Species. :) Have fun making Silvers!
Also, here's another one of those news mini-contests: at 11:59 PM on the 26th, 20 random people who commented on this news post will receive a Spring Maned Lionfish. :)

I knew about the items allowed thing, but fffffffffffff yesssss 30% edit changeeee. I was JUST thinking of a custom I wanted to edit so I could have more of a species I have between my friend. ;u;

Alright, so...lemme get this straight. We can use items, but not backgrounds/minipets?

Awww, that is a super cute fishy fish :). And I have to admit the 30% change for the silvers is a very good idea.....not that I have a silver so it doesn't really matter what my opinion is.....but there's my 10 cents :D
