LIONFISH COMMANDS YOU TO LOOK AT THESE SHINY UPDATED RULES.
Still needs some tweaking in regards to formatting and such, but the important parts are there! All in one place, and fully updated. The link in the navigation bar will be modified to redirect to this thread soon. Now nobody has any excuse not to know what the custom rules are. :P
We are also taking this opportunity to roll out two new rule updates in regards to customs.
Items are now allowed, meaning you no longer need a SCC to make a pet holding a piece of fruit or a ball or something. Keep in mind, however, that the rules disallowing minipets and backgrounds are still in effect and unchanged.
Silver Species now are allowed up to 30% edit room while still being LBC breedable, as opposed to the original 10%. This should give you some more freedom to add edit variety to your Silver Species. :) Have fun making Silvers!
Also, here's another one of those news mini-contests: at 11:59 PM on the 26th, 20 random people who commented on this news post will receive a Spring Maned Lionfish. :)

Oooh, pretty shiny Lionfish!
Love the new SCC-rules, too. I want to make my own SCC species eventually, and the new rules makes it a lot more tempting!

One worthy change I would suggest to cut down on the transparency issue is rewording this on the custom creation page :
"Image Upload
Will only accept 200x200 gif, jpeg, or png formats."
to "Image must be 200x200 png format" or something similar~ I believe this phrasing aids to the confusion of beginning submitters :3 (Hulyen posted a comment already from our account so hopefully this second post doesn't mess up anything)
