Site Update
Just a quick update to let you all know that Half a Lesser Breeding Coins have been removed from all site shops until further notice. This is in response to the fact that they are overrunning the queue, and we think it's best if they're 'retired' for now.
If you still own one, you are welcome to use it but they will no longer be stocking as an item on the main site. Metal Breeding Coins are going to function as the 'BP-coin of choice' for those that want to spend BP, not GP, on coins regularly. If you need to breed normally otherwise, simply continue to use LBCs.
We're sorry for the frustration this causes, but we hope that in the long-run it'll stop the queue from building up as massively as it has.
-------
Also want to edit to say that from now on, if you have inquiries/questions about breeding stuff, or questions for me in general, send them to [email protected] instead of PMing me.
My private messages can be used for general discussion, but pertinent questions should go to the above email. Be sure to include your on-site username and user ID when emailing. The reasoning for this is that an email address will have more capability for organization and I won't lose important messages as easily (I get like 1 page of messages every 3 days). I didn't want to make a whole new news post for this, so just keep it in mind!

Will the metals still have the same restrictions?

I understand why, but a small warning would have been nice indeed.
On the plus side, breeding should be faster soon :3

If I were to have given a warning, people could have gone and bought up tons of them to compensate and it wouldn't have alleviated the problem. It's something that had to happen immediately as a potential threat to the breeding system now. Metals do have the same restrictions as well -- nothing has changed about them.

Sad; I was wondering why they had disappeared. A warning would have been nice, even a brief one--thankfully I wasn't saving up for one at the moment, but I know that when I had before, it took a long time and a lot of work. Still, getting the queue down is a big hurdle at the moment, so I understand why it needed to be done. :-/ Maybe once the queue is back to normal (oh, what a lovely day for us all that will be!), reinstate it with a higher price.

I guess this means the affordable option that gives you cool results is gone unless you want to spend real money, right?

I have a question, and I mean this honestly. People will now be buying full LBC's instead of halves. That means twice as many babies per breeding. How is that lightening the queue when now all litters will be twice as big?

Kiara, it'll take (most) people longer to save up for LBCs since they're a lot more expensive. And since they're GP items, another pro for the site is that it'll (re)gain more income.

I can't speak for the breeding team because I've never actually spoken with them, but I imagine Halves were put through with much more frequency than LBCs have been/will be because of the price difference.

Thanks for the info, definitely.
But uhm... as has been said already, how about some warning next time? You know, just to be nice XD
