Maned Oskes

Contests

Want to win one of these awesome maned Oskes to go with your White Lion Oske?

Send a message to another user - any user, but preferably not one that's your friend - telling them something nice. Like their artwork? The posts they make? How they're friendly? Anything - just be nice, and recognize them for the good community member they are.

Include the phrase "i377dh" at the end of the message for a chance at winning one of those Oskes above!

Just think of this as an excuse to say something you wanted to say, but were too shy to message someone about before.

These Oskes are very nice ^^ I couldn't do this though, I'd just feel cheap telling someone something nice just because there's something in it for me :C

I love every single artist who has done a commission or who I've purchased a premade from and have asked for tweaks... which then get tweaked or reversed... God, I apologize for those times when I'm ridiculously picky and I'm so ridiculously glad none of you has thrown something at me through my laptop screen yet >o< I'm so sorry when I'm like that, and I honestly don't mean to be annoying, and I always feel so bad for putting you through the trouble ;; *gives everyone this applies to a cookie* Thank you guys for generally being awesome and sweet. ily all <4

There, now it's to everybody it applies to, is honest, and I'll technically get nothing for it c:

I'm not messaging anyone, personally. xD I agree with the "it'd sound fake" and "they're just doing it to get something", I'd prefer a different method of 'winning' these. I don't mind if people message me to get one, though, even if they don't mean what they say. oo;

..Besides, I'm /definitely/ not too shy to speak up, so randomly commenting on something I like about a person../would/ be just for me to get something. xD So, I won't be participating.

I do like these oskes, though. We need more maned and (bat, bird and butterfly) winged site pets, at least one for each species, I think.

I agree with dragonspeaker, this gives me the perfect excuse to randomly mail someone about how awesome they are, and though I really want them to believe me I don't think I could do it without some motivation kicking my shyness' butt.

Im not a chatty person. Whenever I want to say something I refrain from doing it. I see tons of wonderful, helpful people helping/making things for others... But I am just too shy to congratulate them. Wonderful oppurtunity. Thank you.

I'm gonna pass on this too. Although a few names quickly jumped to mind, it'd feel cheap and fake to send a nice message to someone I genuinely appreciate just for the chance to win something. Sure, I'd feel a bit awkward/shy messaging someone out of the blue to say something kind, but I'd rather work up the guts to do that and have it feel sincere and honest than just for a shot at a 'prize' for it.

Just for the people I message if you read the comments- I meant what I said. I didn't do it just for the oske. I'm just shy and find it hard to put myself out there and compliment people I guess you can say.

I love things like this.
I can't just talk to people like some can, especially without a VERY specific reason. And even then I panic about my wording, how a person will react, etc.
These act as a sort of safety net for me.

I will send a message to an artist whose art I really like but could not own. I will however, omit those figures for the oske.
