Your voices have been heard, and due to 70% or more of you authorizing the Breeding proposition,
LBC and HLBC no longer support different base lineart breedings for a single genus.
Breedings currently in the queue are not affected.
What does this mean?
Now that our official artists no longer support different base lineart breedings (Example: Old x New), you are allowed to submit any authorized lineart (meaning, as long as it is not bound by EVENT RULES) for a genus using the appropriate Crystal or Orb.
Yes, that means you can also submit "old lineart" pets and "mid lineart" without a Dawn Crystal, as they are now classified as "alternate lineart."
When we come out with new linearts, you will be asked to vote the lineart as "OFFICIAL" (for site colorations) or "ALTERNATE" (not used in site colorations). As usual, a 70% vote is how it will be decided.
Whether it is OFFICIAL or ALTERNATE does not affect your ability to make customs from the lineart now. :)

I like the new line art - it's slimmer and looks like it could actually fly. Old drylis looks glued to the ground.

I'd like the new drylis more if its hands weren't so limp. :< Makes me think of the gnarl/nikko.

The new one looks kind of awkward. The arms seem too far apart to me. Also, I prefer the long skinny legs and neck on the original. The new one just doesn't seem as refined as the original, like there was as much time put in to making it.

LOVE This change! I have a few questions now, however; does this render the Love Potion #9 and Halloween Potions useless? What about the V-day Reeves? Are these the event line arts you were referring to or can we make them now? I'm torn because it would be nice to have a free shot at them ...but that also brings the value of them down since more would be in the system. But... is that a bad thing? @__@;; *can't decide*

While I think the new pose is far more dynamic, and probably easier to edit the wings on... I have voted old to stay as the main lines. Sure, they have their flaws (The wing finger closest to the wing "arm" doesn't make much sense and theres a chunk of wing missing). But the new Drylis seems to have more. First of all, yes as other people have said. Too much like a custom Gnarl. And its facing in the SAME direction. I bet I'd have less of a problem with that if the pose was flipped, at least giving some variety to that particular pose. Then the wing furthest from us? Connect the wing fingers of it. Two appear to be coming from the wings elbow. That contradicts the wing we see closer to us. Effectively, each wing has a different anatomy to the other. I know any of my customs on these lines would be blue, just to fix that up. Then the arms also look very awkward in their current position, the pose would probably benefit from the arms being slightly more relaxed, rather then looking like they're resting on a fence or something.

Whoa whoa, what happened to the updated better version I sent to you? D: The hands were a little more varied and the face looked 10x more like the original pet.
