Your voices have been heard, and due to 70% or more of you authorizing the Breeding proposition,
LBC and HLBC no longer support different base lineart breedings for a single genus.
Breedings currently in the queue are not affected.
What does this mean?
Now that our official artists no longer support different base lineart breedings (Example: Old x New), you are allowed to submit any authorized lineart (meaning, as long as it is not bound by EVENT RULES) for a genus using the appropriate Crystal or Orb.
Yes, that means you can also submit "old lineart" pets and "mid lineart" without a Dawn Crystal, as they are now classified as "alternate lineart."
When we come out with new linearts, you will be asked to vote the lineart as "OFFICIAL" (for site colorations) or "ALTERNATE" (not used in site colorations). As usual, a 70% vote is how it will be decided.
Whether it is OFFICIAL or ALTERNATE does not affect your ability to make customs from the lineart now. :)

New Drylis' pose doesn't actually feel very 'dragon' to me or even Drylis so I voted for it to be alternate. The face is cute though. I hope this means the other orimi lineart will be released. :D

Oh please no. The drylis design is lovely as is, it just needs touch up work on the tail, wing and horns. Too bad there isnt a "back to the drawing board" option, as I wouldnt even like this as alt.

... why does this alternate lineart have to be in the exact same pose as the Nikko, the Roku, and the Gnarl? What's with the prevalence of "Hind legs, facing left, looking over the shoulder to the right"?
Any chance we can have a third voting option? An option for "Don't use this lineart at all"? Because that's the option I'd really prefer. This alternate looks more like a custom Gnarl or Nikko than it does like a Drylis. The body type, the arms, the thickness of the legs, the wings- they're all completely different from the original Drylis. Even the horns don't have the same re-curve to them.
As others have said, do not want.

...I wish this was a bit more visual than nothing but text.....I find myself even more confused than I was last night....dawn crystals don't even have anything to do with breedings......*smacks head on desk*....I'm about ready to give up trying to even bother with aywas.
