The constant earthquakes in the fissures unearthed fifteen eggs...
There don't seem to be any more, but maybe another large earthquake in that region will jog more from the depths. There certainly are many of them.
The lava and warmth in that area seems to have had an effect on them. If you put your hand to the shell, something's moving around inside.
Inside is a Serrul, a new rare genus.
Ready to hatch your Serrul? Download the PSD from the custom only thread and make your design, then take your egg to the Custom Pet page to upload it!
Hmm, I wonder when the next big earthquake will be?
Can you guess what this genus was named after? (prize: egg)

Congratulations to those 15 who found eggs! :D
And awesome brain power for those who found that scorpion.
I'm sure that's what it would have to be named after.

Possibly named after the Sawfinger Scorpian, or Vaejovidae serradigitus?
That's my best guess! And I must say it looks very...intimidating

Tityus serrulatus, the Brazilian yellow scorpion, is a species of scorpion belonging to the family Buthidae. It is native to Brazil and its venom is extremely toxic. It is considered the most dangerous scorpion in Brazil,[1] and has been known to cause deaths in children.[2] It is usually parthenogenetic.[1]

basically modeled after the brazilian yellow scorpion that is considered the most deadly in that region. the look of it is almost the same coloration, and i knew off the bat it was a scorpion. so basically, we got a new insect species. but its nifty looking. xD i am a scorpio in astrological signs. so naturally i'd like this thing. ;)

It kind of looks like a cross between an Insi (The head and tail resemble an Insi), and a Gael (The pose)
It could be named after a Dwarf Sundrops ( Calylophus serrulatus)
