Where it may be the answer to life, the universe, and everything, it isn't the reason this number is important. 42 refers to the number of users that will be receiving refunds of their coins/fertility potions and, in some cases, their breeding canceled because they didn't read the rules (or made an error in submitting a breeding). It took me several hours going through every single page of the queue searching out mistakes made on current breedings.
Please take your time to review the descriptions on each coin as you use it (as well as the potion) BEFORE you submit the breeding! We have a breeding and species tutorial to reference off of for a reason, if you don't know what 'common species' is and whatnot. Please, please remember to do so, else your breeding will most likely sit and have to wait to be fixed later on. It only serves in backing up the system more.
I'll sift through again sometime in the near future, but for now I'm going to toss the refunded items to people that need them. If by tomorrow you have not received a refund on an outstanding breeding that you know is due for cancellation (and you realized your mistake) PM me tomorrow with the IDs in the breeding, coin used, and when you submitted it, along with what you did wrong.
Another small addition; whereas Mauri (#1010) is amazing at helping out in the breeding sector like a superhero sidekick, she is not the one to go to with pertinent breeding-related questions. She normally cannot give you answers, so please direct all queries to me, not her! If I don't respond outright, too, please give me a poke. I get about a page of messages per day in my Aywas inbox, and I don't mean to leave anyone out. :]

I submitted a melo breeding when I was partnered in a lair with someone. Neither of us are in that account anymore, and the breeding never went through. I still know the other user who I bred my melo with however.
What exactly do I need to do in this situation? XD
Not really sure what I did wrong, might have been predicts since I dont have my boys PSD. ^_^;

-hugs- i don't think i made any mistakes.. but yea i understand what you are going thru.. ty mauri too for all the sidekick help given to Frey. :) -shifty eyes as i check thru my list again- I still have breedings from last Oct not back yet. Should I msg anyone ? :| (Breeding does not belong to me, I only help to request.)

I had submitted a breeding with the metal breeding coin and then two days later you came out with a better explanation of how it worked, So I will have to figure out a better breeding pair for it, thanks for the refund of the item

Yeah, same thing happened with Viola as Sauda. It was released and then after she bred a pair of lunarises together the rules were changed after she submitted the breeding. DX

wait, so the lunari breeding before the re-stated rules didn't go through?
Back then, it was stated that those lunari MBC breedings before the rule re-state would go through...
