A new monthly contest has been created. In this contest, you design a custom based on a theme. If your design wins, you win a prize, and your winning custom will be randomly given to another active user ♥
The prize is your choice of BCC or BCO as well as 1 SP.

I love this idea. Personally I think it's a good thing it's random, because this way lesser known users might get something. I'm not likely to join simply because I'm lazy (gotta be truthful here. XD) but I love the idea and look forward to seeing what people make.

For the contest, could someone pm me about what item will be used? As in could I design a melo, or does it have to be a blue orb pet?

I really like the idea of this contest! It's like a commission from a mystery user :) And if you end up liking your custom so much and hate who it goes to then use the custom making item and make yourself a similar one! Doesn't hurt anyone.

Don't you think there should be a vote each month, then, to see who would actually /want/ to receive a steampunk pet? I mean, I'd be pretty sad if it went to someone who didn't want it...

If you don't want the pet, don't comment on the news post for it, I guess. But yes, I LOVE this idea--many (most?) of us can only afford customs when events and holidays come around, and most folks don't have the skills/tablets to make such beauties. I'm a big fan of this custom charity idea. Go Slash Go! :)
