There have been some concerns about the Shu hybrid being in the same pose as one of its parent genuses, the Oske.
Would you prefer this redesign of the Shu, or the original?

The front wing looks odd to me, like the feathers aren't right. And the tail looks like it has a broken bone. Otherwise, I love it a lot more than the old/original. -K

Definitely prefer the new one, but yeahhhh the anatomy looks pretty wonky in the wing and tail.

I like the new better, the old one just looked like a gold Oske custom. The new one's offside front leg/paw is very very thick though. Like twice as thick as the other, and at an angle that makes it look sorta broken, and there's a weird bulge right before the body obscures it. is that supposed to be a dewclaw? 'cause if so, it's up way too high, it's not even on the foot.

*points to Griffinsong* I agree with that... the furthest most front paw is rather thick compared to the closest, that and it seems far too short. And the dewclaw 'bulge' looks really odd. I also agree on other people's concerns on the bent tail, the neck feathers not matching with the turn of the head and the wing being too far back on the body... other then that I've voted for it because it is far better then the old because it looks more like a hybrid and not just a custom Oske.

Here I made a mock-up version that should fix the biggest anatomy issues. ignore the black bg, I was lazy and didn't save then open it XD not important, anyway.:

-Thinned out the offside front leg and redrew the dewclaw below the wrist. Also made the claws a bit smaller to match the other front foot and added a claw to the dewclaw.
-Smoothed the bends in the tail.
- Added a bit to the wing joint that shows it connects above the shoulder, and a bit of feathering to make it not look disjointed.
- Made the front of the feather mane match up with its position and added a bit of chest visible so it looks less like the head is pasted on.
-Shortened the toes on the back leg to match the other. Of course, one could also lengthen the toes on the offside back leg instead, depending on whether it's supposed to have really long toes or not. They do not match as is, is the point XD.

The new one is lovely, but im not sure about the tail, its at a very odd angle. I liked the tail on the old one better.
