There have been some concerns about the Shu hybrid being in the same pose as one of its parent genuses, the Oske.
Would you prefer this redesign of the Shu, or the original?

They're different enough..why not make them two separate species? I'd fix the wonky chin on the first, perhaps tweak the ears, and make its "mane" look less like its head is the center of a flower, though, if so.

I like the new pose much better, but I have two comments. Why is its tail broken? Should tails have bend that sharply? Also the mane of feathers doesn't look all that... nice. :x It looks odd. Very odd.

The new one's head kind of looks pasted on, maybe because of the stiffness of the mane feathers? It doesn't really seem to flow with the body. :/
I'm not really the biggest fan of either version, I guess.
