Site Update
Obviously, we love pets! I was thinking about something we could sponsor for this holiday season and came across the Friends of Animals Spay/Neuter Program. That's where you can find vets in your area that accept their spay/neuter vouchers, and someone online buys the voucher for you so you don't have to pay for the operation.
Vets these days are expensive, and spay/neuter is no exception. If you have a pet that needs spay/neutering but you're not sure if you can afford it, check out the Friends of Animals site and put your zip code in. Follow the instructions (contact the veterinarian to confirm the veterinarian's participation and ask about any additional charges) then write down the vet's information.
Send me an email ([email protected]) with the vet's information, some information about your pet, and a photo of the pet with "Aywas" somewhere nearby (for example, on a piece of paper next to the pet). I may select you for a free voucher :)
I'm going to pay for about 10-12 free vouchers depending on turn out.
Your purchase of GP goes toward events like this ♥
Keep making people (and pets) smile!

That's AWESOME!! :O My rapist dog really does need to be neutered... But I'm not sure, but I think I get mine free anyways.. In my area, I think Pit Bulls can get vouchers from the police station..

This is really great. I have a few cats, females and males, not spayed/neutered. Plus, most of them are really old anyways. And we have all male dogs. Good thing they're just puppies and stay in the yard. XD. I wouldn't have them all neutered or anything, but I hope whoever gets a chance to do so with their animals gets lots of help with it. :) This is really cool of you. :)

Good idea, and if I could I would enter, but sadly I do not live in USA.
My poor kitty will have to wait through a few more heats before I can get her done. Poor thing will be 2 (I would have gotten her done earlier this year, but I got into a car accident)

Excellent idea. I'd like to recommend people looking for pets to adopt also. My Raden kitty is an adopted adult cat.

this is just in time, I and my family have an sweet kitty man who needs spayed but we are having trouble coming up with the funds because Hawaii is insanely priced for the operation, not to mention needing to fix Piper (the puppy Aywas helped us bring home) I will definitely be looking into this, this is a wonderful program. D: It's nice to see people realize that it really can just be to expensive, I want both our babies fixed and healthy but the prices are insane. The lowest operation we have found for Piper is nearly 600 dollars, that is insane.

I don't see why pets would smile about getting their organs cut out unless they were exploding or something.

What a lovely idea, in a very good cause! ^_^ Thankfully all of my cats + dog are neutered/spayed, but not everyone can afford it so this is an awesome thing to do.
