Spay/Neuter Vouchers

Site Update

Obviously, we love pets! I was thinking about something we could sponsor for this holiday season and came across the Friends of Animals Spay/Neuter Program. That's where you can find vets in your area that accept their spay/neuter vouchers, and someone online buys the voucher for you so you don't have to pay for the operation.

Vets these days are expensive, and spay/neuter is no exception. If you have a pet that needs spay/neutering but you're not sure if you can afford it, check out the Friends of Animals site and put your zip code in. Follow the instructions (contact the veterinarian to confirm the veterinarian's participation and ask about any additional charges) then write down the vet's information.

Send me an email ([email protected]) with the vet's information, some information about your pet, and a photo of the pet with "Aywas" somewhere nearby (for example, on a piece of paper next to the pet). I may select you for a free voucher :)

I'm going to pay for about 10-12 free vouchers depending on turn out.

Your purchase of GP goes toward events like this ♥
Keep making people (and pets) smile!

This is an awesome idea! Honestly, is there anyway to do a group sponsor? I mean, my family has taken care of our pets for ourselves, but I'd love to help with this as well.

Thats a great idea. We have a Kitty Rescue in our area that spays / neuters some cats for free(Example really really low income people or wild cats) And helps pay some of the cost for other people. Thats how my Isis got spayed, and since I got Buffalo from Kitty rescue he came spayed. :) Good luck to everyone else who's not been able to get spayed or neutered yet.

OMG I am so emailing you. T_T I have THREE cats in my house I cant afford to spay and neuter for a while. Two are girls and one is a boy; if I could just get the boy neutered omg it would be so much less worry.

Poop, nevermind. The only vet that does this is too far away from me. Oh well; Slash is still totally awesome. :D
