Site Update
We have come to the conclusion that Explore causes a lot of the lag on the site (along with some minor things that we are looking into now). Because of this we will be spending tonight and tomorrow recoding explore from the ground up.
Read more here and suggest your changes to the explore system...

I'm not going to complain since I haven't been to fond of explore since V3, but what about collecting pumpkins now?

We're gonna try opening only the HF but keep the other explore areas closed.

Sounds good to me! I look forward to reduced lag, thanls for doing this for us ^_^
We wouldn't really need extra explore time for pumpkins to make up for lost time either, as you work out the prizes based on how many pumpkins people get, don't you? And as it will be unavailable to everyone, no one will be at an advantage or disadvantage. The only thing it will affect is the amount of time people have to try and find OCCs and OCOs and to collect pets.

I've been loving explore since he reduction of merchant prices and finding more BP. Hopefully it can be recoded and retain those qualities. Finding more pets would be a bonus, I've seen barely any since the merchant/bp changes... don't even reach my licence limit .

You know, I'm really glad we have a staff like this, since I've been on many pet sites where the problems/glitches never got fixed simply because the staff didn't feel like putting in the effort to fix it. And I hate this lag and I'm ecstatic that Explore will be changed for the better. Now I just wish everyone could try being a little more patient and supportive of the staff. >>
