I just now found out that October 20 was dubbed "Spirit Day," meant to remember those who were bullied by those who are anti-GLBT. The day is almost over but I still think we should do something for it.
So, for a full 24 hours (from now until tomorrow at 11:59 PM) you can submit up to two purple custom designs to this thread, one for you and one for a friend to be received for free. Please note the customs should have 20% or less lineart edits and the customs must be purple and common species.

Well, I know there are people out there! Bi and proud. Glad to see some people not pigling the cusoms just because they are customs. I remember last year I made little DOS colorations of a line art for people's fursonas and gave them away free to help raise awareness. I mean, even my soba and my avatar currently speak out to it. Ah well! I'll give this a shot because it actually means something to me.

I'm so thankful I live in the North East of the US. I'm bi and I've never the bullied or even close. I didn't even realize until a year ago or so that there were still people that made fun of homosexual, bisexual, transgender, pansexual, etc. people. I was such a naive girl.

I've been terribly bullied in my life. Not for the fact that I'm interested in girls, but for other reasons. I know what it's like to be harassed for something that doesn't concern other people and that you can't control. I wore purple yesterday, I'm I'll get to keep my custom as a reminder that I was never alone and that other people knew what I was feeling, even though it was for a different reason. <3

I don't think anyone should be bullied for any reason.I'm straight but my best friend was bi and she was afraid to tell me because she didn't want to lose me as a friend. She was surprised when I accepted her for who she was.She was like a sister to me,she passed away a few years ago.

Here here, Aqua! The customs are a lovely touch, but it's the day and the people involved that it's important to remember.
I've been very lucky - I'm bi, but have never been a victim of LGBT bullying. At least not yet, anyway. The world is unfortunately always full of bigoted people. :P
